I hate working out. Period. Hate going to the gym. Hate watching my meals. Hate keeping a journal. Hate pushing until the blood vessels in my eyes burst. You get the picture. I think anyone who "enjoys" going to the gym isn't training seriously enough. There has got to be something lagging for them to say "Oh! I just can't WAIT to go to the gym!"
Of course, I do love the results......... -------------- Michael Those who think they know everything, annoy those of us who really do. |

I love almost everything about weight training/ bodybuilding. Yhe one thing I don't like is that now most of my clothes don't fit.
I wanted to be bigger, and I am,(Not to my goal though) but I just didn't think about my clothes no longer fitting. Sure, that meant I got new clothes, but I hadn't figured that into my budget...lol Anyway, what's do you not like about working out? -------------- Either You Worked Out Today or You Didn\'t |

I hate the feeling when you are leaving after your workout. I am exhausted, slightly sore, yet still so pumped up I just wanna go do some more even though there is no possible way I could even lift another finger.

Getting up early does have it's draw backs. But I am glad I am doing this to myself. I like the sore muscles sometimes. Even better I like when the muscles feel tighter than before.:)

Well, from weight training, as more of a beginner after 33 years of not doing anything other than trying diets, I have to say, foods that I love. There are things that I've eaten for 33 years that it's just hard to turn off the switch and say not anymore.
As for workouts, I have to say the time involved. Sometimes I just think there are so many other things (usually sleeping) that I could be doing with that time. Oh yeah, and noticing those skinny *&%#!E@ people who seem to be able to eat anything and any quantity, don't exercise and are thin as a rake:angry: ....oops was that out loud? |

Exactly, I feel like a puss next to the big guys but outside the gym the ladies love the way I look over the pot bellies and such.
Everyones goals are different and lets just say some guys like me got a late start in life unlike a person like BB1Fit that's been at it for 30 years. Don't even think your going to get the big lifts and looks that take these fellas years to achieve unless you plan on cheating. Here is what I live by, when people say dude your skinny you were allot bigger before I reply with stuff like yes but I'm allot stronger now, fast, sharper, can tie my shoes unlike you without lossing my breath, no more acid reflex, I can open up jars without bursting a blood vessle and ect. ============ Quoting from carivan: ============= -------------- Knock-Um Down & Keep-Um Down! |
