Hey, perhaps you could ask csferrie to calculate your workload into a launch equivalent on how far you could throw a single cat.

One lift of 405lbs is about 820J of work. (Assuming you lifted it at a constant speed the length of your femur - estimated to be 1.5ft)

So, if you could put that much energy into launching a cat weighing 5lbs, your maximum distance would be about 75m. ( if you threw it on a flat surface at a 45 degree angle)

Thanks to all. I went to my journal and looked. The first squats I logged were 6x165 in October 2003. The first squats I ever did in my life was sometime after May 2003 when I first joined FT. I guess anything at any age is possible.
