This groups of muscles found in the hip area are skeletal muscles that are responsible for flexing the thing bone, femur. Basically, the hip flexors function to pull your knee upwards. Working closely with your glute and thigh muscles, it is quite a significant muscle group.

Located at your front upper middle thigh area, the hip flexors are a tiny muscle group. Usually flexion and tension exercises are performed in this area to increase strength and flexibility.
