5'8" 150 lbs. goal: 138 (kind of specific, I know haha)
Question to anyone and everyone: As of a few weeks ago, I was 145 lbs, I am very athletic. I decided to double up on sports. I am now on Cross Country as well as a select soccer team. I lift weights twice a week to work on upper body strength. I have not eaten (much) more junk than usual. Do you think the extra junk food, no matter how small, is the reason for my weight gain? |

I am new to this website but i guess i can add a little sumtin. I was at 205-210 at around may 15 2006. I didnt really have a goal, but all i wanted to do was lose weight and show everyone that called me fat what was up. So in the 2 1/2 months over our summer break i worked out everdya and lost 35 punds just in 2 1/2 months. I didnt starve myself or anything. All i do is eat smart and workout. The main thing is, is to cut out a lot of chocolate and things, and most of all cut out the cokes and alcohol. i have drank one diet cole in 5 months. now when i drink one they taste kind of nasty actually.

I HATE TO SAY WHAT I WEIGH BUT HERE IT GOES....
I AM 5'4'' AND WEIGH 213. MY GOAL WEIGHT IS ABOUT 130 TO 145. I8 HAVE TRIED EVERY DIET AND THEY ALL SEEM TO FAIL. I AM TRING THIS STUFF CALLED INTERNAL FLUSH, YOU TAKE IT AT NIGHT AT BED TIME. ALSO SOMETHING CALLED HOODIA. I WALK ATLEAST 2 MILES A DAY, SOMETIMES 4. I USE MY AB LOUNGE FOR THE MOST PART EVERYDAY. I DRINK PLENTY OF WATER. I AM ALSO DRINK SLIM FAST DRINKS AS WELL. AND TAKING LEAN BALANCE IN THE MORNING. I MIGHT NOT LOSE ANY WEIGHT BUT BE MESSED UP AFTRE DOING ALL THIS TOGETHER. BUT AT THIS POINT I NEED TO DO SOMETHING. I WANT TO LIVE HEALTHY. |

Hello everyone, I am 250 lbs and I want to get down to about 170, I would be very happy, just got tired of beeing FAT, but I know I can do it. You guys can too, Amanda I know how ya feel, When I got over 200 I kept saying i have to loose this weight, and I walked everywhere I went, It seemed like it wouldn't help, but I know you can do it. Hello, all
This is officially my first post. I am embarressed to say it but I weigh 294.4 lbs. At 5'10" I am morbidly obese. It seems as if I have more weight to lose than any one one this page. Just this August I began my weightloss journey, but I weighed 330lbs. Now my goal ic Christmas be down to 285lb. I thinks it reasonable, but ultimately I would like to weigh around 170lbs. which is average BMI for my height. Good luck to everyone. Nicole |

nllanos, I forgot to post my weight on here so dont feel so bad i think i got you beat at starting at 380 i am floating around 360 now and currently I am build my muscle mass while running so while I know I have lost more fat then the 20lbs show I will say my arms themselves I know are bigger wish I had measured myself prior I just didnt feel like getting depressed

coolflower - I'm metric system impaired but if memory still serves, that's around 33 lbs. You are more likely to keep the weight off if you shoot for around 2 to 2 1/2 lbs a week.

Hi, after reading through all these posts I now have the courage to "jump right in" and talk about me lol. I am now at 160 pounds and would like to be at 140- by March if at all possible and really need to bring north what has gone south!!!. I will definetely need much support and friends for motivation. My first post! I'm 5'7 and 143 lbs, my goal is to be about 120-125...or to a size 6 or 8. I haven't the faintest idea as to how long this should take (because I never exercise!), but if possible by March or April.

Make sure your goals are realistic, take small steps and see how you feel when you get there instead of putting huge pressure on yourself, it is much easier that way!!

I started this journey 9 months ago at 188 i am now 165.8.. WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And still going down it has been probably five years since I have seen 165 on a scale and I am really happy. Goes to show that it can be done.
