347 yeah a lot but since last years weight of 400 im on a great path and moving steadily downward. i can walk two miles a day now at 2.8 and an incline of 1.5 i feel great i can't wait til i get back in the 200 pounds guarentee i will do a celebration shop when the scale says 299
my boyfriend is great support he goes with me to the gym and when i came over to his house we eat what is on my diet. he has stood by me the whole time and we are going to get married once i get into the 100 range ( that is personally my reasoning i dont want to big huge at my wedding ) being loved is one of the greatest motivators out there and you have to loove yourself:love:

If you are 6'7" at 132 lbs. then you are already extremely thin. Is that a typo??

Congrads to all and keep up the good work. If we all work together and talk about it good thing do happen. I have slipped of late back to 289lbs, but all is well. Just have to get back to the gym. Bad week no one to blame but me.Good to see others doing well.

I'm 5'9" and about 157lbs or so at the moment... I typically fluctuate between 155 and 160 but am more at the higher end of that right now, much to my chagrin! My body fat percentage is around 24%, less than most of the same height and weight as me because I pack more muscle which is good on one hand because I like being strong, but it's not so good in that I never really like the number on the scale eventhough I'm roughly content with my body. As far as goals are concerned, I'd mostly like to just more active and healthy, but must admit that losing 5-10lbs would be nice too.

Your right, Kippen. It is all about being serious about what you want to accomplish. The thing that seperates those that attain success and those that don't is simply the seriousness it takes to tackle a goal and not give up...everyone who has ever been successful with what they want from life has a story to tell and that will always start by their struggles, but they didn't give up. They will tell you about almost giving up, but they won't tell you about giving up because they didn't. They will tell you about falling short of their goals sometimes, not attaining the win the first time possibly, but going on to work harder and believing in themselves. To be a survivor, a success, you have to know the pain of the journey, but the end result is a testimony to others. You all have it in you to be EVERYTHING you want to be and there is nothing stopping you but yourselves. If success was easy to attain, we would all have it and the excitement and trial of getting there would mean nothing --so buckle down and demand of yourself nothing but the best and if you fall short now and then, just get up off the mat and take it up a notch! :dumbbell::dumbbell::love:

The best advice I can give is stick to something....then add something else...for instance, keep coming here to FT and post your progress, your good days, your bad days, but just stick to the accountability and good tips, then add something each day or week, the biggest reason it seems most can't lose is because they can't stick to it...so practice with the little things until they add up to the big goal at the end --a healthy, happy life!

Good advice Veda. And about coming to this site, I can honestly say that I don't think I would have stuck with this healthy lifestyle this long without this site. I've tried a million times before, but this is the only time that has "stuck". I think having the level of accountibility makes a big difference, not to mention the encouraging stories and "before and after" photos. Good luck everyone!

I have no idea what my weight is. I don't own a scale nor do I want to. LOL I can say I want to lose 6.5" in my hips, 9.5" in my waiste and Buddah just needs to go!!! Thighs need to shrink. I have always had big thighs, so that goal is to just get rid of the jiggle and get the shape back. The bad part of losing weight and toning is that I will lose my boobs. I'll eventually drop back to a "B" cup. (Happens everytime!) But hopefully they will be a perky "B" instead of a drooping "C". :)

Welcome to you recent newbies!! Awesome to have you here!! Joe--check with a doctor for individual needs, that is best, this is a guideline, but has to be tweeked per individual's needs, it was about 1,000 calories too high for me or I'd be a whale by now, lol, the doctor advised as I was tweeking, but it wasn't quite enough, it may be for you, though, everyone -EVERYONE is different and has different needs.

Right now I am 290 and 6'1. I broke mine to attaining certain milestones. My first is 270, then 250, then 230, and finally 220. I will at that point determine if I look fine or if I need to continue to loose more.
