I've been working out on my own b4 I got my ft profile. I weighed 174 lbs and I am now down to 165 lbs. I'm 5'4" so my ideal weight would be around 130-140 lbs. Running only helped lose so much weight, the only thing messing me up is my diet. Hopefully that'll change.

I am adriane I am 280 lb and would like to get to 130 just because I have never been that weigth. The smallest have been is 180 lb . This is a long term weight goal that may take over a year I really hope that this is the site for me. I have a permanant knee injury that will hinder my goals but in the same respect if I don't lose the weight it could mean a knee sugery sooner then later in my life .

Rearrange diet, cut out junk (still working on that) and exercise)
Good luck

I'm 5'3" and 181.2 lbs and I would like to lose 50 lbs. I know it's not going to fall off. I work out 4-5 days a week at a Wellness center but I have not had any weight loss in the past 3 months. I have noticed my clothes have begun to fit better and my legs and rear are getting tighter. So maybe by following the advice of freetrainer.com I can reach my goal. By the way I am also diabetic and have started a new medication called Byetta which is an injection that is not insulin but it helps the body regulate and produce the proper amount of insulin. I have heard that diabetics are having success with weight loss.

Ok, looks like I posted to this thread over a year ago, I find that amusing...

but anyway here's my stats...

5'8 165lbs.

Goal;

150lbs.

I am going to give myself two months and see where I get...

I am moving into a new apartment Monday, where I will have access to a fitness center and I can run around the complex (which is about 15 acres)... Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

I was looking at my previous post from last year and realized that I have only "technically" lost 5 lbs. My post said I was 170 and I am 165 now, but I went back through my logs and found that in January of last year I was 30% bodyfat. And now I am 24% bodyfat. So even though I only "lost" 5 punds I am in m uch better shape and wear two sizes less than I did last year. It seems like slow progress, but hey ANY progress is good progress, right? Also I don't usually post full body shots, but I did here, just for this site, so if anyone has any comments or suggestions; PLEASE speak up!!! Thanks to everyone!!!

Just amazing how many come through the FT doors and how many return after small hiatus', welcome to those that are new and to those that are finding their way back! Good luck to you all with your goals - when you are ready to face them head on - you will succeed!

5'5 , 140 Ibs. had a baby 7 months ago. My goal is 125 Ibs. I've already lost 10 Ibs. in about 2 1/5 months. Tae-Bo and cutting calories, yet still eating 3 healthy meals a day is my wonder-drug. If I can just keep it up. It's hard to make myself sacrifice and endure the pain of excercise. But I feel so much better when I do.

Hello, Mutt!! With my job I am so unaware of how many days actually pass before I even sit at the computer at home again, then with grandbabies, kids and life time just flies away from me, but I am glad to have FT and people like YOU to say hello to when I gather some moments of quiet time to do something I enjoy!

Missed last week but I was down 2 pounds and this week is another 2 pounds. I was quiet sore last week because I started weights. This week I feel better and I'm keeping up with my training. My goal is 250 by December, my weight today is 321 pounds.

GO FOR IT!! The more I exercise the less my knees hurt and I was injured at 15 messing up both knees and ligiments after a skiing accident that left me in braces for six months....get advice from your doctor as to what exercises may benefit you and what ones to avoid. Good luck!!

Goal weight: I used to think 150 was my ideal but it is also so hard to maintain. With the additional bulk on my frame, I think 160 would be more reasonable.

Right now, I have been eating more freely. Giving myself a break, let my weight stabilize before I go to the next level.

I'm a stay at home mother of 4 (2 in the last two years). My husband and I are taking our first solo vacation to Croatia in July and I want to look good or at least so-so. I don't have a camera just this second, but I'll put my picture up when I get it back (that will motivate me if nothing else does.

Current weight: 160lbs size 10 26.1 BMI
Goal: 120-130 lbs, size 4-6, any heathly BMI

current wieght:110
Goal: 95-100
Not really concerned about the number. I'm working on my body composition. I was 92 gained 22 lbs in about 6 months all of it fat. I've been working out at the gym for 7 months and have only dropped 4lbs. I'm not happy about that but I love working out. Just wish I was getting better results. I want less fat more muscle.
