Think of it this way - if you get results you will be motivated to keep trooping and if you don't get results you will be motivated to start busting your a88 a little harder.
No one can do it for you!

Hey - of the people who have sent stats in so far - in the lead for inches lost is Ravenbeauty - with 7 inches total!
Jonshez is leading the weight loss with 7 pounds! Not far behind are KC and bouncerboo with 5 pounds each!
Everyone has gotten some results - some very dramatic! Keep it up you guys! You should all be very motivated by your resulst so far!

Well....I'm out...I'm not even going to measure because I'm afraid it may just depress me, although I don't think I've gained anything. I've done some serious damage to my lower back (possibly a herniated disk...I hope not) so I've really had to cut back on my workouts and don't see resuming my former efforts for some time:(

You are all doing awesome, so hang in there. I be floating in the background cheering you all on:dumbbell::dumbbell: Good Luck and keep it up!!

Thanks for the sympathy! Actually, as is typical, nothing "happened". I noticed it started feeling weak when I was doing pilates about 2 months ago and it's just gotten progressively worse. Of cource it's only been recently that I've stopped doing some of the things that aggravate it, like running. I've had similar problems in the past, but this feels different somehow. I'm still very hopefull I can work thru it with physio, so time will tell. At the moment, it's more of an irritant than cronic pain...I just hope it doesn't get to that. I don't have to worry about surgery, because in Canada, unless you're complety debilitated by it, they won't do surgery...

Okay - here are the totals (in no particular order)for the people who have sent in new stats so far:

KC_72 - so far a loss of 4 pounds and 5.02 inches!:)

maricelamurphy - so far a loss of 2 pounds and 1 1/2":)

christal086 - so far a loss of 2.2 pounds and a whopping 15.46 inches:surprised:

Jonshez - so far a loss of 9 pounds! and 13.25 inches:)

ravenbeauty - so far a loss of 2 lbs and 21 inches:surprised:

dfly411 - so far a loss of 4.5lbs and 4.5 inches (a nice match!):)

jaytori - so far a loss of 6 lbs and 10.77 inches!!!

freedomfound - so far a loss of 5 lbs and 5 inches (another match!):)

msmogreen -as she stated in the motivation post - having some momentary issuess, down 1.74" and .5 a pound, then back up but not all the way, still down .25" - keep it up, I bet it will all drop next round.

Now is a good time to tell you all how odd weight loss can be, as msmogreen is experiencing - when you lose weight it will sometimes drop, then hold, then increase, then drop even farther. I don't know why this occurs, but talk to anyone who has lost a lot of weight and they will agree - sometimes it seems you are doing everything right and the scale goes up, then you continue doing everything right and the next week you drop the five you went up plus and additional pound or two.. this happened with me when i initially lost all my weight. What you have to do is continue on and have faith in the process. Things are happening internally, your body is sorting some thigns out, and the drop will come.

When you do your cardio - visualize that you are running on a path - at the end of the path is you, with your ideal physique - run towards it, visualize it, keep that picture in your head and keep moving towards it, no matter what!

Good work folks! Really nice to see how everyone's doing. Thanks for all your work Amy, it's really appreciated!

I'm really focussing these next 2 months. I have a charity row on 9th June and I promised myself I'd look good this year, so 10 weeks to lose another 20lbs!
