I have heard that kelp (and probably other sea veggies/algaes) can boost metabolism. Has anyone here used these?

No, but I've used deadlifts and squats.

Eating certain foods may have a SMALL effect on your metabolism when compared with the power of proper diet and exercise. Get everything else in place first, then worry about the small stuff.

What to do when you do have desk job... seriously I get tempted to be like a landscaper or a construction worker... I helped renovate an old hous one summer and was in the best shape I'd ever been in...so afterwards though I climbed back up to average.
