Ok I am starting a wish list for my home gym, if you want to add go ahead:

a better bench/rack that will allow this big ol boy to bench heavier.

A bench that also can be used for shoulder press (that the back is supported).

A set of dumbells that range from 50lbs-120lbs.

Ok for now that will do.

Mutt - I truly believe that if you put pictures of what you want on your walls and stuff, you will get it. In fact, find a pic of the bench you want and put it on the wall right where it would go if you had it today. It won't be too long, and you will have it.

Shoot! I finally setup my gym area, and 3 days later I got the gym to go with it. It works, man!!! It's the power of belief.

It even works with women, kinda. I had a friend that put up a pic of a swimsuit model and kissed it every day. Within 3 months his wife left him, and he set off looking for the model. LOL

stereo system of some sort. The best thing about home workouts is listening to your own music :)

I think The Rock would make a really nice addition to my home gym.

A need an indoor area, I workout on our back porch. I also would like an Olympic Bench and weight set. All I have is dumbells, with about 150 pounds of weight. During the winter I have been working out at the local high school weightroom so I don't have to freeze my ass off.

I gotta agree with that, definately the Rock! Do you think he would give us a special rate if we "shared" his time? I mean just looking at him would give me inspiration, lol!!

If not the Rock then I guess I would settle for a eliptical, not nearly as interesting but practical I suppose!

Exercise equipment? Well then, I'd like to put the guy from the BoFlex videos on my wish list.

How was that?

You are hoping to get a Body Builder?

I would love to have cable crossover stands.

And i think that The Rock qualifies as xercise equipment - see cristalbelle's post in the women's forum as to what constitutes aerobic exercise...

I would get a workout chasing him around the room!:surprised:

Yo Mr. Muttster,

(1) Four more 45-pound plates
(2) Ditto the 50-120 DBs
(3) A thick zig-zag (curl) bar (for olympic plates)
(4) An additional 100 square feet
(5) Full body photo of me at age 32 & 197 lbs for motivation
(6) Refrigerator filled with Oreo-flavored protein shakes.

Chillin', dawg. Da boss man got da saxman toolin' like a... oh hell I can't speak this way. I've been busy at work -- again. Plus my 16 year old announced he'd like to attend Duke University when he graduates, so I've been free-lancing AND deciding which leg I'll cut off and which finger I'll cut off above the second knuckle to cash in on my morbid disability policy. Wonder if there's such a thing as home schooling for college kids???
