Well, thought I would let all know that today is 3 weeks out from competition, and training/dieting is going great. This leaves but 2 weeks to prepare. Am really feeling good about this one, my back shot in my pictures on posts was at 5 weeks out. Much improved since then. Got some new posing trunks even, and took the week off before this comp so I could put everything into my final week carb depletion/loading, water manipulating, etc. Wish me luck...:dumbbell::dumbbell::big_smile:

Hey Ron...I am with you. been there, done that. GOOD LUCK. You may have seen on the Beverly Board that my Competition was Sat May 1. Well I am so glad it is behind me WAHOO....16 long weeks of diet and cardio. And double WAHOO...I took 1st in my Figure Class ( over 35 division) and happy to say 6 girls in the class. So now I take the remainder of 2004 to regroup, have a LIFE, recover from my Shoulder Problem (plagued me since Nov....but I made it through, though I had to make some changes in the training leading into competition)and think about trying for the ProCard in 2005.

Keep Going...the last stretch......

Wow, congats to you Leslie!! So very cool. How does it feel getting that 1st place trophy? I hope to get one this time. I have come so close, last time out a second. I am in my all time best condition I believe this time, though last time wasn't too shabby. Alot of folks thought I got robbed, but it is up to the judges. Looking at the pics of us, it had to be very, very close. Oh well, got another chance at it in a few weeks. Then I am going to take a year and just try to put on some quality lean mass, have not done that long for, well, I don't know. At least the time on this board. What, 3 yrs?

Rest your shoulder, I have a bum one too, and I have been working through it. Need to give it some rest.

Pro card!! Wow, the thought of it makes me drool! So many congratulations to you, I know how hard you work. As you say, a double Wahoo!!:big_smile::big_smile:
