Shaker cup.....

I had a protein shake on the way home from work on a Friday and then just stuck it in my work bag. I took the next week off....the following Monday morning I saw the cup and put it in the sink (I swear I was going to clean it when I got home). Needless to say she opened it first. Have you ever smelled a shaker cup a week and a half after it has been sitting out....probably one of the worst smells that I've ever come across. Anyway to the question. I washed it in the dishwasher and even hand washed it. It still stinks....really bad. I'm cheap and don't want to have to buy another one when there isn't anything functionally wrong with this one. How do I get rid of the smell??????

They don't leak, they wash well, they don't absorb odour (although I have to admit I haven't tested this with week old protien-yuckk!) In Canada they are only about 3 bucks. I'd toss the one you have and buy a new one!!
