Mine are to get back in even better shape than I was last summer, eat right, play hard, workout on scedule, see my grandbabies more, and smile more, and finish all the blankets that I started last year (I Crochet), stay away from all the sweets that go right to my middle, train the dog to shake my hand and rollover. That's enough to get me started:)-------------- THE NATURAL WAY IS THE ONLY TRUE PATH TO SUCCESS, PRIDE, JOY, HAPPINESS, LONG TERM FULFILLMENT AND SELF-ESTEEM! |

Well, hmmm...Not sure what to say first...
Stop smoking Friday!!! Blood pressure has sky rocketed, and doctors are concerned...Get blood pressure back to normal, and get off these pills! Never pass a kidney stone again! Get through MRI on knee next week, and most likely recover from surgery! Figure out with nutritionist and doctors why I have gained 15 pounds since December 15 when in fact eating habits and the foods I have been eating, are good!!!Thank God I kept a log book on exercise and food! Figure out why I am loosing strength in the upper body, when in fact I am eating well, and hitting each part once a week. The funny ole fryer is NOT laughing so much at the moment, and this year is going to be filled with challenges. Read and educate self;to deal with the above crap!! Learn to deal with doctors, lab techs., nutritionist, therapist, and whoever else the medical community throws at me. I wish you all luck in your quest, and will return! mutt challenge II, well, I loose, but I WILL BE BACK!!! |

I want to find those elusive abs under my gut. It is going to be very tough to do, but I think with a full year of keeping myself fit and eating healthy I can bring my bodyfat down enough to reach that goal. -------------- Mike |

I think abs to grate cheese on are a definite goal for me (well maybe not that extreme), hopefully I can have them by the summer (so I can show them off :P). Also, to be more strict on my diet (which will help get my abs).
Oh! And to fit into those damned jeans my mom got me for christmas (also related to the abs). They are one pant size to small! -------------- - Its never about how much you can lift, or how many reps you do. Its just about doing it, and doing it right. - If your hungry all the time, your not eating enough. And anyways, being hungry sucks. ~Brad~ |

I love it! Charlie you never fail to crack me up. Thanks. BTW, if you accomplish that, can you give me a hand? -------------- ~Victoria~ ...Do not be discouraged; everyone who got where he is, started where he was.--anon ...There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.--Beverly Sills |

To not take myself so seriously.
Have a booty you can bounce a penny off of (1/2way there!) Gain some serious muscle and lose the flab!!! Pay more attention to my lovely husband. Get my personal trainer certification and not flunk out of law school...... That should be enough to start... :) |

LOL, I know, that is pretty bad, because what's worse is that I have no idea what I said!
Okay, okay, I guess I'll give a semi-serious answer. Goals for 2004: - Hit my 375-400 lbs military press. - Get to more powerlifting events. (since I've stopped competing, I've slacked off). - Get my strength training gym open. - Further expand my business. - Buy my H1... -------------- Michael Trample the weak; hurdle the dead! I cant imagine what it would be like not to be able to workout. Not because of the personal gains of doing that but because I can move, get out of bed, run, physically almost do anything. My goal is to help the people I know do more of that and to keep my body in the best possible health I can. Up to the Lord with thankfulness, as I am so lucky to be with the gift of movement.

To FINALLY start to feel better about myself and to keep myself motivated with the program I started on Dec 22. So far, so good. Especially now since I realized how bad I was eating. That was the first thing to change. I appreciate all the support and advice that is given in these forums, and that helps to keep me motivated. You guys and gals are great, keep up the good work, and here's to a Happy and Healthy 2004!
