yup that is what i have it is an abnormality that interfers with the nerves..in other words some bones in my spine are out of place and hitting some nerves i guess it can be pretty serious if not corrected it is called the silent killer becaause it can slowly eat away at your health so i have to see my chiropractor 3x a week for a month and hopefully that will take care of it so i can not work out but i can do stretching exercises and walk that is about it oh well......take care...

jnellie hang in there it is hard for any of us to stop lifting but you need to rest and heal, then come back stronger than ever.!

Keep your chin up! At least now you have a starting point to start your recovery from. You will be back telling us how much you gained shortly! Think of it now as just a temporary setback. Just another hill to a climber! (cliche')

Perhaps you should see a neurologist, as they specialize in nerves and spinal cord.
In anycase, hope you get better soon and we are all looking forward to your progress.

i had the same diagnosis a few years ago. the 3 times/week will only last until you start to feel improvement and then the visits will become less frequest. i only go once every 3 weeks now. i think it will help you tremendously. glad you went to a chiropractor. good luck with your healing :)

Hey buddy, hang in there! I know what you are going thru. I am not hurt now but 2 months ago it was like that I could not walk or put my shoes on (gout). Then my son was born and my memebership ran out. So it has been a while since I have had a good workout too. The thing that has kept me sane is talking here. Stay focused and stay ont he diet. Can you do cardio at all? I am trying to get back to running now and make it a good strong habit, so when I go back I am that much closer to the long haul goal. Come on Savage Man! Prove to us young'uns what you can do!!!!!!

I am glad you found out what it was. Try some other activities that you enjoy to occupy your time.

I dislike being depressed. It is the worst feeling in the world!

The walking and stretching should help at least it makes you feel you are accomplishing something.

Take care and we will see you back soon!

:) Melissa

Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
