I am almost 15 years old, and i am 5'4, and 140 lbs...i am about a size 6, and sometimes a size four if i am really lucky...or if i am unlucky and 8:surprised:....i play a lot of sports, and am active in fitness usually...i am mainly muscle, thats why i way soooooooo much. But i do contain some discusting fat as well...i would like to get down into the 120's...i would be ever so happy.

5' 10" and currently 209 lbs. My goal is to lose 35 lbs by April or about 2.75 lbs per week. My problem is I'm adicted to late night snacking and it was easier to quit smoking then to break this habit. One day at a time and I will reach my goal

I am 5 10 and weigh 195 but last week I weighed 200 so I have already lost 5 pounds. I have to say I am proud of myself there. Also my goal is to be 150 by april but I would be happy at 160 even 170.:big_smile:

I think you should try to grow to about 5' 9" or 5' 10"

Alright I'll join the trend. This is my first starting back working out but the numbers will decrease....
Thursday January 20, 2005 Height- 6'2 Weight- 311 (hey one of my favorite bands..lol) Goal Total- between 220-230lbs. I will come back every month on the same time and post an update. BTW- I'm not 24, I'm 25 and have been since the 6th. -------------- Love, Peace n Chicken Grease!! |

August 9, 2004- 252 January 27, 2005-221 My goal is 169 I am 5ft4" tall and my weight should be 135-141, but this is my mini goal if I get to that I will work from there. I carry my weight well. Most people don't think that I am over 200. When I go to the drs. they put the thing at 100 and then 50. I always laugh and say nope to the 200. Doing SB "Diet" Weight Train 3 x's a week and cardio 3 x's. I know I know do cardio 5 x's. I will I will. |

This is my first time joining a wieght loss forum. What I hope to achieve is wieghing 185lbs by the summer. I currently wiegh 215 which is 30lbs overwieght for my age and size. My fitness goal is to be able to run for a full hour at 4.5 miles and hour. I can only run for a total of 5 minutes at 4.5 on the treadmill. I will use what the Army taught me in disipline to keep focus:surprised: I know I can do this and I now have a free membership to the local gym. that's all have a great day -------------- no pain no gain |

Hello I'm 5'5 and weigh 200lbs I just had a baby 11/7/04 but he left his luggage behind my goal weight is 160 by 04/8/05 I'm looking to get a 6 pack and toned arms 160 is my first goal 140 is the weight I want to be for the summer :big_smile:

My current weight as of this morning is 168.5. I am shooting for 150. I'm 5'10"...my goal seems so attainable, but it seems like every pound closer to that number is harder to take off! Glad to be here!:) |

290#...6'0"...Typical fat guy...have the 42" gut, handles and man boobs that some women would pay for. Want to get back down to around the 220's and/or a 36-38" waist.
Gave up regular soda for a new year's resolution and have been clean since Jan 1st. Drink a ton of water (gallon/day) and eat sunflower seeds...wish me luck and I do the same for all of you! |

I don't know about any of you, but I'm quite frustrated with my progress thus far...I'm two weeks into my new regimin and scale is up three pounds, not down....urrrgggh...any one else mad at their scale??

Ok just joined. I have to say that Veda inspired me. She sounds a lot like me as far as weight and goals. I started on 1/1/05 and I weighed in at 237. This morning I weighed in at 226. My short term goal is to be a minimum of 199 by summer. My long term goal is 160. I originally thoght 135 but the gym did a profile on me and my lean body mass is 136 so I dont have as much to lose as I thoght. WooHoo! I am working out and feel good cant wait to look like I feel. I know I can do it just looking for some online pals for support.

Just had a baby 2 months ago, was at 230 when i had her, down to 180, so my goal is 150 (my pre-preg weight).. and 150 is pretty slim for me for some reason..its not fat or chubby..funny how that works.

My weight right now is @!$# ... well ok i mean 214 pounds... darn shift key My goal right now is to lose anything I can and to feel better... and to keep doing as much yoga and pilates as I can ... I think they're more fun for me 'cause I thought only the skinny people did them hehe ;) Hey there ElizabethAbby ... do you have a picture of what size you are right now? I used to come here all the time. I faithfully followed my workout program. All they had was a 5 day, so I made up my other 2 days - I went from 3 to 4 hours per day. Then.. all of a sudden, I had no energy, couldn't get out of bed except go to work. In a very short time I put on 30, then 40lbs! I kept asking my doctor to test my thyroid (Mom has the problem), she said it was fine. I went to my endocrinologist several months later *I'm type 1 diabetic* and he tested and said I had an underactive thyroid. Now...taking pills and I have to lose all this weight again. I am also awaiting 2 surgeries for carpal and cubital tunnel. I was doing pretty well until all this happened. It is amazing what skipping the gym for 6 months does.

i started out feb of 04 weighing in at 265 lbs
i currently weigh 195 im 5'5" tall and my goal weight is 145. i found out that my weight loss had slowed down tremendously due to the fact i was overworking out and under eating calories....am hoping it will start back up again soon. |

humm ok, my height is approx. 5'5 @ 125 lbs as of this morning. my goal is lose maybe 5 to 8 pounds, preferebly 8 pounds. 117 lbs my ultimate goal though. i don't have a date, just take it as it comes. but if I were to stay the same weight and my body got smaller I wouldn't care what weight I was!! my heaviest was 156 lbs this time last year. I didn't even mean to lose the weight. I just got more active.

I recently decided I'm a train wreck waiting to happen...5'3 (and a half!) and 260 lbs. I also spent the last 2 weeks cutting back on cigarettes and today was my first day without smoking, so I'm taking on a lot right now, but know I can do it if I keep my eye on the ball. My goal weight is 135 lbs. - I know this will be a long road. I've enjoyed all your posts and have learned a lot - I plan to do the Monday post - think it is a very good idea!
