With such a topic so broad we truly try to cover the basics from all angles in this group. Nothing too big or too small. Nutrition is as significant if not more as exercise is to reaching your goals so learn all you can.

If I were a sexy, red Corvette I'll bet I would only get the very best fuel, the right kind of oil, and plenty of water. Would you shove doughnuts and French fries into the gas tank of a sexy, red Corvette? Would you give the Corvette just barely enough, poor quality fuel and STILL expect it to do 110? After you shoved the fries into the gas tank would you stand there and say "Well, I just couldn't resist the temptation?" Mmmm, probably not. It's true that standing in the garage won't make you a car, I tried it. If it had worked I'm sure I would have turned into my Mother's '67 VW Bug, or a Dodge Dart. So, I'm not a car. I'm a human being and that means I'm worthy of at least as much respect as a hunk of metal, no matter how sexy that hunk of metal might be. I think that means that every time I say "No, thank you" to a coworker who kindly offers me a doughnut, or to the nice sample lady in the grocery store who wants me to try the coffee cake, or every time I pass up the chance to shove McDonalds French fries in my head, what I'm really doing is acknowledging that I'm worth at least as much as my car. Damned sexy). In the making... Currently though i am just a chassis being formed right and getting a strong foundation.
