1. You come home and find your blender on the corner with a sign that says "Will Puree for Protein shakes"

2. Your blender is actually so covered in dust that you don't notice the black widow who has made it a home..

3. You start "curling" strange things. Like people..

4. Instead of coming home and lifting, you come home and stare at your bench.

5. Instead of going to the gym you stand outside and stare at mimick the movements of someone else lifting weights..

6. Somehow squatting the 24 pack of toilet paper becomes acceptable..
7. You grab your protein and almost get bitten by the monster dust bunny that has posessed it..

8. You have written "I will not bench" press all over your walls and ceiling..

9. You get night sweats, about chasing a barbell that you never can catch up too...

10. You begin to wonder if Mr.Rogers can kick your ass!!

ROTFLMAO! Bro, I am told that using Melatonin for sleep causes you to dream very vividly and for some it causes nightmares...back off this stuff. I think the only thing Mr Rogers does with an ass is stare at it...and then...

Monday I started squats again after more than 4 years. Now my injured leg as well as my healing shoulder make for some grand instability. I should use the squat machine, but it was in use by some dude that looks real familiar to me, for bench pressing no less. Now I worked in the state prison for 21 years and when someone looks "familiar", its not always such a good thing and old home week ain't on the horizon. Its why my two best friends are both named Colt. I am pizzed at this guy for bogartin the machine. I go to the rack and sneak up on 120lb...wobbly and no form but I crank out 12 reps if you wanna call it that. Maybe the worm on the machine is a state cop from a while back...nah, too short, maybe 5'3" and they don't hire minimum standard unless they walk on water and turn same into wine. This is an ex con, and I am truly pizzed now and he keeps on bogartin and breakin way too long. I calm down thinking that maybe I ran his head into a concrete wall long ago, it makes me feel better. Fark this crapola, I throw another 50 lb on the bar and crank out 10 as smooth as 20 yr old scotch. I wanna thank the stinkin bastage and tell em I hope his skull healed ok...what a monday.

in regards to a this, i had a VERY depressing episode on sunday. i was rearranging some of my garage stuff, and i found an odd bag. i took it in the house, opened it up, and was hit with emotion like seeing an old girlfriend. it was my lever-belt, singlet, bench shirt, and knee and wrist wraps. for some reason, i thought it was nice and neat in a box.
maybe i'll just hang them up and make a little memorial in my office........*sigh*

That bites. You know it's never too late to go back.. Doesn't power lifting have an equivalent of the masters?

I can't imagine Michael not going to the gym. I'm sure he still works hard...maybe not for comps but for the Vegas ladies!!!

Jungl is happy now. Sometimes I get bored stiff at home, two grand kids yelling, screaming, and crying. Then I remember those 16 hour shifts on some of the most violent cell blocks on the east coast...I ain't bored no mo! My blender is a Bravetti, it earns its keep big time. Momma wanted to buy those salad attachments for it...to make a long story short and to protect the guilty, we now have two blenders...I've shot people for less than a garlic flavored gainer.

Jungl, I'm glad you can take your frustration out at the gym now. You sound like you have had it bottled up for awhile now.

i dont know how i should take that masters comment, cain.... i'm not THAT old (LOL!)...

thanks for the comps, guys. i still do go to the gym and still do some supplements, but i'm not allowed to lift half as hardcore as i used. now, im just trying to stay in semi-shape (you're right, robert, vegas ladies are QUITE unique...snicker!), enjoy life, and help where i can, which is why i love this site so much!
