Hey,

I weigh around 60Kg or 132 pounds and i stand at 5"5. I was wondering if a person of my size who can bentch press around 70 - 80kg and arm curl 22kg is that good comparing my size and weight? I do cable excercises by pulling them down to my centre chest lifting 8 reps on around 80kg and pulling them up from the ground with around 8 reps and 60kg on each cable. Also, one final thing i lift around 41kg or 90 Pounds on a standing bar curl. Sorry to list so many excercises but i was wondering if anyone could tell me for my size am i doing quite well?

I think that would depend on how long you've been working out...my husband is about your size...when he was exercising regularly he could lift much higher than that...now that he has stopped for about a year and just picking it back up again...he's just under you.But he's 32 now and has worked out off and on since he was 16...to many variables to answer that I'd say....if you are making steady improvements...regardless of what you are able to do now...20 pounds or 220 pounds...I don't think it makes a difference.

If you are pushing weights at your maximum, then it is good. Noone can "rate" you at a strength. Just be strong for who you are. There are some little guys out there that would blow away some bigger guys in strength, but you could never tell it by looking at them. And then some guys who look "big", and can't lift crap. Just keep your intensity up, and keep concentrating on adding weight to the bar. No matter how strong or how big you think you get, there is always someone out there that will be bigger or stronger unless you reach elite level.

Strength is not entirely dependent on size. I would rather see how you have progressed over the past year to see if you are doing good than just numbers from now.

And btw, I must know what I am talking about seeing as I am "professional".

Since you CLEARLY missed my joke....allow me to explain...you see I thought it was "cute" that wrestler one upped himself as pro status to my elite status....man can't stop saying that....elite status.ahhhh....

you know there really ought to be a disclaimer....elite simply means...."to much time on KCs hands"

Ignore this numbers....listen to bb1 and wrestler...I'm just babbeling...again...sorry.

Are you two planning to take over all the posts, or is it just blind luck that it happens?

Thanks for the comments - i have been at it for 5 months and more then doubled my strength and appearance in muscles size. Today i broke most of those records considerably.and i am looking to further increase my loads.
