I'm going to start postin ga new goal of mine each week. If you'd like to join me, please do. Seeing other peoples' goals may help one another. These will be small goals of course, as they are one week only.

My first goal for this week is nutritional: to stop SNEAK EATING. that means no more small bites of snacks here and there unaccounted for, no ketchup or sugary sauces...everything counts this week! I have troubles with grapes, I grab one or two every time I go to the kitchen...which is okay during the day, but at night it's no good. I can eat a lot of extra cals that way. no sneak eating!

What's your short term goal of the week?

My goal is to stop snacking on almonds........ (actually I haven't got any more left so it's rather easy! ;o)

Tara, I have the same problem as you with sneak eating, but my weakness is cherries!! We have a big huge bowl of fresh, red crunchy cherries out in the kitchen and I can't resist them!! I also take a few bites of this and that during the day....especially during cooking. So I'll TRY to stop doing that too. Must stay away from the cherries...noooo cherries.....

Same here. Yesterday someone here at work brought these big huge muffins and left them in the break room. (The nerve of some people...lol!) Twice I found myself breaking off a piece and eating it without even thinking. So sticking to the diet, especially through the weekend, is my goal.

diana, sounds just like me! don't worry though, cherries aren't bad ... just measure out a cup and have it with a meal.. and account for it! that's what makes sneak eating "sneaky"...we don't count it!

My goal for the rest of this week? Stop cheating!! I've blown this week by eating things I shouldn't have. I am so easily influenced to eat junk when it's "that time". *sigh* I need a personal assistant that follows me around all day electrocuting me when I reach for something I shouldn't have or when I don't work out when I should.

Try and get through one of these 35 degree days without a hienekin. Doesn't go good after a protein shake! :(

My current goal is to keep the coffee down to three cups a day. :(

Maybe I'll have one of Carivan's Heinekins instead... :)

I have a few goals for the week starting sunday june 29-july 6 th. Keep up with my 13 week walk/run program (increase running time) , get out of "holiday mode", get my butt back into the gym. Also to make goals for the month of July on the first and to weigh and measure (not looking forward to that) Get eating habits cleaned up (had an off week, due to still being in holidays mode). I think thats enough to focus on for the week. Good luck everyone.!

My goal this week will be to eat enough in each day so I don't lose any weight. At work I always end up eating junk food like doritos and cheetos. Also to make my own lunch each night. If I don't my mom makes my lunch and it ends up coming out to be WAY too little. An example would be that I usually make a half pound extra lean burger, with a slice of cheese and two slices of bread, a salad with a half pound of grilled chicken, and a protien shake. IF my mom makes it she will give me just the salad (no chicken)... thats it.. I was crazy starving by the end of that day.. I just got out of work then went to taco bell and had 4 tacos and an order or nachos... never again...

really.. "If you want something done right.. do it yourself"

It's only 10:35am on Monday, and my goal this week is to avoid killing a couple of co-workers. Good thing July 4 is a holiday! I only have to make it 4 days.

Halleluiah!!! I did it. I stuck to my goal and when I did my weigh-in and measure this weekend I was so excited. In the 2 months since changing my diet and lifting heavier I have lost 5 lbs and over 5 inches total. I am so motivated now!

WEll it's Wednesday... new goal for me. By the way, congrats victoria and ravenwolf on keeping your goals. Gwin and Ravenwolf, let's all try to not kill anyone, mmm k?
I kept my goal mediocrely, I just had one kinda bad day.
my goal this week is to keep up the eating and drink more WATER. I'm terrible about drinking water. I probably haven't had just a plain glass of water in months.

Lots and Lots of water. Less Diet Pepsi.
Maybe one goal at a time will be easier.

I Want to get all my workouts in, and at least 30 min of Cardio 4x's this week. Also Need to get my eating back on track, as I just came off of Night shifts, and although I did not eat bad, My routine is all messed up.
