umm, guys....??
...i *think* i'm slightly addicted to the message board...
I'm *exhibiting* many of the "signs" of addiction... Should I be *worried*???;)
signs/symptoms of addiction: *Posting like crazy even when you don't really have that much to say
*Checking for new posts when you first wake up in the morning, and then again in an hour, and then at lunch time, and again after lunchtime is over, in the afternoon, late at night, all the time, over and over and over...
*Knowing that you can never check ENOUGH, or FAST ENOUGH!
*Reading and reading and re-reading the same posts on how to do stomach crunches the "best" way, or what's "wrong" with guys and/or girls because you're AFRAID (and I mean afraid!) you MIGHT have missed something...
*Admitting (on the board) that you (gasp!) TALK to your food (and that it actually talks back!)
*Skipping an exercise session to READ new posts (Your excuse: That you need to first LEARN how to exercise/eat healthy before you can actually DO IT!)
*You go from "novice" to "popular" status OVERNIGHT!
*Your picture on your profile changes VERY frequently...
I'm *sure* NO ONE else is exhibiting any and/or all of the symptoms....right??? (Well, except for the few who admitted to having alleged conversations with their, ummm... food...)=)
Note: The FDA has not fully tested the effects of this message board... Recommend to your friends at your own (or their own) risk! Addictions may be highly contageous! It should be noted that all recorded effects of the message boards, thus far, have been positive (increased motivation, achieved goals, occasional bursts of laughter, etc.), with the except of the occasional stiff neck and/or tired eyes...=)

Yup nothing can be done for you I am afraid.. They only known cure is to do 10 sets of deadlifts follwed by 6 sets of heavy squats (afterwhich if you can stillmove you can post) the affect of this will knock you out and therefor unable to turn on your computer. If that does nto work by some chance try doing 10 sets of curls your arms will be to sore to click the mouse.....

sounds like you have the same disease as the rest of us known as MBD (Message Board Disease). Unfortunately, there are no immunities available for this at the time. The only maintenance available is continue checking the message board, morning, noon and night. Post, respond and read on as many topics as possible. LOL!
isn't it great to be a part of such an awesome community!

This site can truly exhibit mind (and body, of course!) altering effects..... But, hey, there's worse things to be addicted to.
Welcome to our sick and twisted little corner on the 'net!

HEY! Talking to my food has nothing to do with this message board. Besides, I wouldn't talk to the food if it wasn't so chattery all the time.

Fortunately, I dont think board addiction is clinical. We may all still be savable!

I think you have to stnad on one leg and do crunches while you check the message bord - that should balance it out.. in fact, i am supposed to be working otu right now..
