ZOMG! I have never come first in anything before, never mind something related to getting fitter!
I know it gets said a lot, but I mean it sincerely - everyone who made a change over this challenge is a winner. Ultimately this is a challenge between your old self and your new self, and if you made changes, no matter how small, your new self is winning. So good for you! Amy, thanks very very much. Your hard work and the effort you put in inspire me when I'm flagging. Thanks for looking after us. Roll on the next challenge! |

That is great everyone. I know I didn't loose what I wanted but when I can run up the stairs at work and not be winded at all, as opposed to guys who are breathing hard walking across the room, hey I'm feeling pretty good.

I always feel like we should hike along a mountain ridge, collecting the torches of our fallen challengers a la Survivor finale...anyhow - these are the final stats for thos ewho stayed the course, I am sorry if i seem to overlook anyone - send me an IM and correct me :)
As far as prizes - I can offer large, small or medium t-shirts from my old training co. If you are interested send me your address and the size (sorry, out of XL) and I will send you a t-shirt :) There are 2 designs - purple letters on a grey T that say "Goddess in Training" or black design on a white T - a guy lifting a big barbell and it says "Work in Progress' across the top. Both have my old logo on the back (defunct website and all :)). So - on to the big results!!!! Leader of the pack - Jonshez!!! jonshez lost 19 pounds and 25.5 inches - 8.25% of his bodyweight! congratulations! he has also been reported sporting about town in aviator shades, being mistaken for Tom Cruise :) Second in the running - Dfly411 - dlfy lost 11.5 pounds and 11.5 inches (nice match:)), 7.25% of her bodyweight! Good job! She has also been reported to have gone fron Zero to Hot in no time flat!:) Neck and neck at 5% of their bodyweight lost are Ravenbeauty and Christal086 - RB lost 9 lbs and an amazing 34.75" (who is for throwing out the scale???Imagine if she had only payed attention to pounds...). Christal lost 8.4 pounds and an amazing 32.16 inches - (again with throwing out the scale, huh ladies????) Great work - keep it up!!!!!! A suprising come-from-behind - out due to injury through most of the challenge - Flyonthewall lost 3.6% of her bodyweight! 6 pounds and 6.5inches - nice come back, Fly! And the last few to stick it out, frustrated because the changes weren't coming as fast you like, but still plugging away, trying to figure out the puzzle pieces that will result in the physique you are trying to achieve - maricela murphy - ended up with the same weight as she started at, but lost 10.5 inches! that means you have to added some muscle, maricela!:) keep training with msmogreen and I am sure you will continue to see changes in your physique:) Msmogreen - your new pictures show that you have gotten results - I know the scale isn't giving you what you want, but you did drop 4.25 pounds and 2.5 inches, 3.17% of your bodyweight! You are just getting lean enough that the changes now are incremental, but keep on pushing, you will get where you want to be!:dumbbell: Frredomfound - you lost 5 pounds, 9.75 inches..2.41% of your bodyweight - Great! You also reported that your blood pressure was better, your resting heart rate at a very fit level, and I know you have really changed your lifestyle to a healthier one. Keep it up, you are doing great!:) Jaytori - When you were in it you really helped motivate everyone - haven't seen you for a while, but i wanted to include you here. I know you are out there, busting your a** and working hard to change your body! keep it up. during the challenge you lost 6 pounds and 10.77 inches! Keep on pushing!:dumbbell: Thanks to everyone who participated!!! I hope everyone gained something from this experience! Look for future "Official" Freetrainers challenges after the upgrade!!! And keep on making better choices every day that will lead you to your ultimate goal! -------------- Permanence, perseverance and persistence in spite of all obstacles, discouragements, and impossibilities: It is this, that in all things distinguishes the strong soul from the weak.
