I've read that, chemically speaking, muscle fatigue is caused a build up of Lactic acid in the muscle tissue. This acic slowly disipates as you rest. So, because lactic acid is in milk (the stuff that causes "lactose intolerance" in some people), would drinking milk before a work out contribute to "premature fatigue?" Anybody out there actually know the answer to my stupid question? :0)

the stuff in milk that causes lactose intolerance is the sugar lactose. it is not identical to lactic acid. and that is not a stupid question...
