I love wading rivers and streams for miles and miles with my trusty Ugly Stick in my hand and being along in Natures beauty casting my line into every eddy hoping to land that record sized fish. OK! I got carried away. But I do get great exercise wading against river currents. :0) ~Billk~

rev8ball Posts: 3,081 Joined: 2001/12/27	2002/03/27, 01:00 PM the best thing about summer here in vegas is as the temp goes up, women's clothes get smaller(LOL)! off-road racing in 120 degrees; cruising around in my restored 69 bronco witht the top and doors off; hitting the lake on a boat and doing some jet-skiing; camping up in the mountains; and being able to leave a nite-club on a saturday night at 4 am, and its still 90 degrees! the desert is absolutely beautiful during the summer, esp. at night. -------------- Michael "Trample the weak; hurdle the dead!"

I love the summer and the sun but just way toooooo many tourists and I get absolutely nuts out there, I'm far better in my gym training and talking with people. In the night time it's different thou; on with the heels and the tiny dress and then bababuuum out enjoying another barbacue, dancing and laughing all night long. Hmmmm summer is knocking on the door, I can hear it!!!! -------------- - Nina :o) La vie est toujours aussi belle.....

But I love to go ocean fishing, and just plain travel. I am orginally in Maine. Been in the South in Alabama now, for three years. Heat is tough for me sometimes. Enjoy the cooler months down south better, and the warmer months up north. Being a mom, it's hard to have true hobbies that i personally enjoy. My kids are about the best, all year around.... -------------- You have the power to control your own destiny. Take advantage of it, because you cannot turn back time.

I had to wrap up my dissertation (which I did) and have surgery on my sinuses (just finished recovering from that). And job searching (my job SUCKS!). So now it's time to use my sick days (what's left) and enjoy some hot Georgia days by the pool, on the golf course, or hiking in the North Georgia mountains. Hope to make a trip back to New Joisey and hit da Shaw for while.

But I don't live close to a beach anymore :( Hiking and biking is nice...hopefully I will get a shiney new bike for my birthday next week! However, as Arnold said summer is when you don't do a whole lot so you can dedicate yourself more to the gym. I'm still in school so that is what I do in the summer, that's when I can gain the most weight. Otherwise, I like the beach, I like dirt bikes, and swimming. :) -Derek
