He'll loose his gains faster than you if you two stopped at the same time.
BUT don't forget that even thou that he's on juice, he's still weight training like a mad man SO all of his muscles are not just air.......

While the muscle goes some of the negative side effects will follow them around for life.

No, because everybody is different.
It also depends on how much you work out, your diet, rest etc

Let's dispell one major myth about from anabolic steroids from the get go: a person does NOT just pop some pills or stick a needle in his butt and start growin' like a freaking weed! What steroids do is multi-fold: huge increase in recuperation time and muscle repair, as well as a dramatic increase in nutritional partitioning and utilizaton. This allows for much more intense lifting routines and diet regimens. That right there is what gets a person so ridiculously large.

Does this mean I support the use of steroids? Absolutely not! I dont support ANY kind of drug use. In my opinion, these obvious "benefits" of steroids DO NOT outweigh the horrible short and long term consequences that we all know, and I'm sure there are a few we dont know about. As I have said before, steroids have a legitimate place in medicine, but illegally abusing them only ends up cheating the one who does it. I would much rather make it to my 50th birthday than win the Olympia.

Just my thoughts..............Michael

I completely agree with you, Michael. Steroid use should strictly be for medical reasons only.

Firstly, I should say I don't condone the use of steroids, nor have I used them for a long time.
The misconception that steroids = growth is just a myth. I know lazy people who take steroids and they don't grow because they don't train.
Secondly, whilst you may lose some muscle when you come off steroids, clomiphene citrate can be taken following steroid use to bring back the body's natural hormone production (which is shut down due during steroid use). It is absoultely a myth that the muscle gained from steroids is different from any other muscle (however, testosterone will cause water retention; half of the weight gain you see is water). AND, you don't necessarely lose muscle unless you are beyond your genetic potential!

I agree steroids are bad for your body in prolonged doses, but they aren't a wonder drug which simply make you grow w/o hard work.

ok here is the thing.. u poeple give 2much credit to people who get big from steroids....

what i mean is that, when u say they workout hard in the gym jus doest make sence.. emm lets thikn of it this way, if one day i would be able to bench like 60 pounds more than i could do last week, i would want to go to gym eveyr day 2... i mean when u see how fast u are growing u are more motiveated to go to gym.. and also the whole workout is easier...

i dunno just a thought...

thanks for your comment sim4242

Remember, just because someone's on the juice doesn't mean they'll instantly grow muscles! You need to actually work out, too! Of course you'll be more motivated to work out more because the growth comes that much faster.

The workout doesn't become easier as you say...I think they just end up adding more weights more quickly than others.

Oh but steriods could be good!!!!! IF there weren't that many negative side effects (and you're risking ending up screwed for the rest of your life.....)

It's actually all a question about control.

Yes, of course. But, if there were no side effects, it wouldn't be steroids!

Basketball players usually get drug tested, so I don't think they're on the juice. Not sure about boxers...

.. a very large majority of Professional Athletes use anabolic steroids to enhance their performance. Sports which are mainly physical in nature such as Boxing, Football, Soccer, Wrestling, Track, etc.

There are many many many ways to beat drug testing..

Do you guys think that natural shows are actually natural? lol

But yeah.. steroids are mostly associated with bodybuilding because it is the most obvious physically since our sport deals with judging the body in the bare! The rest of the sports use them for performance enhancement.

Guess I'm just naive about steroid use in other professional sports. I just thought that if they can bust players for cocaine, they can also detect this substance.

Is it just possible the guy is just big.. a friend of mine is over 300lb.. bench's 365.. and he uses no supplements or diets.. if someone his size took something like creatine he could probably end up as "big as cow" as your post said.. w/o even taking any roids.... some ppl are just giants... although its rare

here is some side effects to steroids copied from a pro-steroid sight. I know many of you all know these but for anyone wh is thinking baout using them look at this 1st.

"Physical side effects:

Cancer...
Liver Damage...
Feminizing effects in males (growth of breast tissue)...
Male attributes in females (deepening of voice, excessive hair growth)...
Enlarged clitoris...
Shrunken testicles...
Limb loss...
Heart disease/heart attacks...
Physical addiction...
HIV/AIDS from the sharing of needles...
Reduced sperm count...
Impotence...
Infertility...
Baldness...
Pain and difficulty urinating...
Enlarged prostate...
Baldness...
Smaller Breast in women...
Menstrual cycle stops...
Adolescents experience premature closure of the growth plates (stunted growth)...
These are some of the physical side effects associated with steroid use. As you can see these drugs can affect the body in a very negative way. Despite all of these proven side effects people are still taking steroids. These side effects may not appear in all users at first. It is likely though with the long term usage of steroids that one or more of these side effects will occur in the user. These can be minor changes in the body and they can be extreme changes. It all depends on the dosage and duration of the usage. These are very good examples of why not to take steroids. Doctors are still discovering new side effects today, and there are still a lot of unknown problems with the newer more advanced steroids that will turn up. The trouble is people are taking steroids to look better and get stronger, faster, and quicker with no effort. What they are actually getting is a body that is like a time bomb waiting to explode. These drugs may help you look good for a short period of time, but they are also destroying the users body.

Physiological side effects

ROID RAGE (extreme uncontrollable aggression due to high levels of testosterone)
Irritability..
Aggressiveness...
Depression...
Mood swings...
Altered libido...
Psychosis...
Mental addiction...
These are the psychological side effects associated with steroid use. The use of steroids can lead to a persons whole personality changing. The users testosterone levels are at amazingly high levels-so high that they become a danger to themselves and others. Users of steroids have been known to pick fights for no reason, attack family members, and kill people. With the roid rages, changes in moods, depression, and psychosis users are mentally unstable. They can harm or kill themselves, and people around them. There have been many cases of suicide and homicide related to the use of steroids. These are the side effects that should concern people the most because this no longer just involves the users, but also the people around him."

lets see if i get hell for posting that

There are so many good alternatives to using roids. Good supps, and eating like an animal. If you weigh 200 lbs, take in about 250-300 grams of protein daily, You will see an increase in mass, I promise!

The problem with the 'will one cycle hurt'? mentality is that, just like russian roulette, you don't know if you will be the lucky one with no side effects or if you will be the one in however many that has a very bad side effect.
Some women's voice changed even on the lowest dose of winstrol possible, and some just grew and grew without any adverse (that they know of yet) effect.
How can you know the state of your internal organs until something malfunctions? Is it worth the chance.
I know people who ended up amputees because of the effect on their heart and circulation. Worth being big for a short time? You have to decide - but think about if you want kids down the line and what quality of life you want to have and for how long.

Another problem with the 'I'll just do one cycle' routine is that no one ever does one cycle. That's like saying you're only doing to shoot heroin for one week. How do you go back after you do a one month cycle? Not to mention you're all jacked up on the hormones and you can't really make a rational decision on that topic in that state.
