Does anyone use these on a regular basis. Are there any health benefits? There's one at my gym, but I've never really made time to go in as I'm normally rushing off to work!

It is a relaxing thing to do for some people. Be sure to drink plenty of water.

Some people feel it helps detoxify you. i do like it for relaxation.

people think it loses weight but it's a load of bull...
it cleans your pores, but can be harsh as I get spots on my neck a few hours after, a bit inflamed(not everyone)..
For relaxing it's good, but no good unless you physically put your thoughts into relaxing and clearing your mind. Don't sit in the sauna worrying about your mortgage, pick on an image in your mind, anything a bucket!! Think bucket, a peaceful bucket.. okay then a small gentle peaceful water fall, imagine and close your eyes from 5 mins+.
Don't rush to work, get organised and get the most from your sauna and hot tub if you've got one there too.

Drinking lots of water is one of the best detoxifications, so it stands to reason that flushing that water back out is where the detox takes place.

Similar to a massage though, those toxins are now flowing through you on their way out (having been roused out of your fat cells etc.) and can make you feel tired and even dizzy.. so I'm not sure it would be recommended to do just before rushing off to work.

Saunas are great - but as most other people have said watch out for the dehydration. Otherwise sit, chat, sweat toxins. If you are brave take ICE cold shower after been in there. The misconception of weight loss comes from the water you sweat out.

yeh right. It's true that ice or cold does increase sperm production. I mean directly cold testicles. Like standing outside naked before attempting to conceive a child should cause a chill and sperm production. Then at the point of climax(is this too frisky for here?) they say a few ice cubes slapped right on your spheres does cause a more powerful orgasm thus more fluid release- hence they hope producing more chance of conceiving...
So heat makes for less sperm production- So I'm wondering at what point whilst in this sauna was you going to require this sperm count?
So don't try to conceive in a sauna as it's a bit warm for it anyway, plus it offends the other guests in the sauna.

Love saunas!!!!! Used to live on a river and had a sauna right on the river bank. Spent plenty of time in it. In the summer once the heat is too much too bare, you just jump in the river for a dip and cool off. In the winter you drill a hole in the river and jump in, its quite invigorating (but that was when i was younger , I would probably have a heart attack now its quite a shock to the system. But definately relaxing, and great for the complexion.

Don't worry, you'll only stay in the sauna for 10-15 mins, your little soldiers will be fine.

Sauna is great for faster recovery just don't do it after a REALLY hard work out (then ice would be better).

An issue with suanas is if you do them too often and sweat profusely, your body will actually "learn" to retain water in anticipation of the next suana. Do not overdo it.
