I currently weigh 198, which is 10 lbs to my prego weight. i cant believe i almost gained my prego weight back (yikes) and my daughter will be 2 in a couple days, so i have no exucses. I am really tired of carring this extra weight on me and am ready to tone up and lose it. Im a stress eater so this will be a challange for me.

I probably don't quite fit here, but for those of you who need some motivation. I am 5 ft 6 in tall 6 years ago I was 200 pounds. A year and half later I was 141 by a combination of weights, cardio and eating better. Changed jobs, started going to school nights and weekends 4 years ago and gained again back upto 157. Finished school and got serious and joined here 2 weeks ago and have lost 4 pounds. My new goal is 135. So for everyone here it does work, but remember it is a lifestyle change forever.

Hi, im new on here thought i'd post my goal too :big_smile:
Apparently to be within the right range for my height (about 5ft 5in), i should weigh between..... 50.3 kg(111 lbs/7st 13lbs) and 68.0 kg(150 lbs/10st 10lbs). I currently weigh 77.9 kgs(172 lbs/12st 4lbs) So my first goal would be to lose about 30 lbs Then afterwards (if i get to an afterwards :surprised:) i'd like to lose another 5-10 lbs. If i manage that, then i'll be chuffed to bits, so hopefully i will get there, it's my dream not to be overweight. I'm 33, married with no children. My current weight is 149 lbs. My goal is to have firmer skin, muscle tone (apposed to a rounded tone) and to be 130 lbs. I also want to become educated on proper foods so this doesn't happen again.

Height: 5.7 ft current weight: 190 lbs goal: 160 lbs I used to weight 155 back arund 2001/2002, and then lack of exercise... my weight started to increase pund by pound - to where I'm now. Hi - new to this and I currently weigh my all time high of 180 and decided enough is enough. I want to get down to 125-130 - that is my happy weight.
At one point in the past I got to 154 lbs and then worked my butt off and got down to 118. Then over the last 6 years it slowly crept back on. I don't know how I went from running a marathon in 2003 to gaining 60 lbs and so out of shape. I'm hoping to find support with you all! |

I am a new here as well. Five foot ten inches 205 lbs :( My goal: 160 pounds Be able to run 4 miles comfortably again. Be strong again. Got married to a great cook, stopped moving my body and added all kinds of adipose tissue to my bod. DANG! HA HA HA Good luck to you all. Posting may be a great motivator to move... Don't get too hung up on what the charts say as every body is slightly different, set yourself smaller targets, for example try to lose 32 lbs to go from 252 to 220, you will see a difference and you will get a buzz at achieving your first target, which in turn will make you even more motivated to lose more, it's like an addiction, you'll see.

Hello all... my first post here I am 6ft tall and currently 246lbs.... over the last year I have gone down from
298lbs.... which was my biggest... but I have the bad habit of getting overzealous and hurting myself and therefore canceling out any good I do bc I can't work out for long periods of time... I am hoping the support here will help me to keep things in mind and not let it get out of hand. I have several "step" goal weights but my ultimate goal weight is 176lbs... and if I still want to go lower... well I will just go from there... my "step" goal weight r Step 1- 226 by Nov. 2nd 2009. Step 2- 206 by Jan 11th 2010. Step 3- 186 by Mar 22nd 2010. Step 4- 176 by April 6th 2010... It may seem trivial to some but if I lose just 5kg I'll be happy. as long as it means about 5cm off the belt as well. I'm about 78kg and 165cm. my concern is mainly cardio and muscle tone of any muscle I might find in my journey. lol

Hey Im Alee, I am new to the site... I am 18 and I currently weigh 308lbs at 5'10. I was told by my idiot Dr. that because I am so tall (for a woman) I can only get down to 190lbs... other wise I will look weird but...
