6'4", 310 lbs of pure potential weight-loss.
My goal is to be down to 220 or so and in good cardio shape for the 2010 bowhunting season (gotta eats me some deer! :angry:).

I am currently 200lbs and my goal is 140. I'm trying to keep a steady weigtloss of 10 lbs a month. If your diet isn't right it is very hard.:big_smile:

5'5" Was 260down to 230 but stalled over the holidays. goal is 125 but for now goal is 200 by january 31st

Hi there, Im new here, Im around 170lbs and 5ft4. Been going to the gym for the past 3 years, not lost any weight, hopefully I will be able to get some help here:-))) Would like to loose around 20lbs.

I am 5'11" and 294lbs. I gained over 100 lbs during both of my pregnancies and have to take it off. I will!! ...eventually!

I am 5'6 and currently weigh 190-200 and have a goal of 130 ultimately but with goals of losing 25 lbs by mid feb and 50 by graduation in 5 months.

vedakathryn, ..i am new on this site, but not new to weight problems and weight loss. I have a similar amount of weight to loose as you and i think its amazing how all these people are able to say how much they weigh..even online i usually wont

I weight 245lbs ...I've already lost five lbs,
My goal is (at first, atleast) 180 lbs...total: 65 lbs to loose

I'm new here. I'm 21 years old and I weigh 165 lbs. My problem is that my weight fluctuates wildly depending on the season and my mood. Not my stress level, because I live a high stress life. Unless it's something huge, like my mom dying last summer. That rocketed me up from 135 lbs (which I was quite happy to be at) to 190 lbs. I'm back down to 165 lbs, and will lose weight just hiking to and from school starting next week. However, I need help eating properly and exercising now that the apartment complex I live in has a gym room.

So, basically. I'm 21 years old, 5' 3" tall, and weigh 165 lbs. I want to weight between 120 - 130.

I also want to help my husband with his weight because he has sleep apnea, and we're both at major risk for several health issues.

The word 'excuse' basically starts with the letter 'X'. That 'X' can cross out all good intentions and can easily cover up the hope in them. It provides a way out, whether you want one or not. We all have bad habits to overcome, and this site provides other people to help give you the strength and tools to do that. You have the gumption, or you would not have come here. If you can to do some light arm or leg exercises before you even roll out of bed in the morning, sometimes that can be the momentum to continue working out. And some days, that is all the workout I can handle. Do what you can when you can, keep in mind what you did not do, but DON'T worry about it, just try to improve as you go. The main thing is to DO something, even just a little is more than not doing anything at all. I have chronic illness in my life to deal with, which will make my goals hard to achieve, but not impossible. They can be done. I am making the choice that all my 'X's are for target practice. I want my hope to belong to me, not to be destroyed by my 'X's. I am pursuing my freedom and health from weakness and weight. One leg-lift at a time. I'm 190 lbs, & want to be lighter than I am. I can achieve that goal.

5'2 188 lbs. how did i get this way. My goal is to be at 130 before my 25th b-day. it's so hard fro me to get into the gym, since i hate going by myself. hoping i can do it this time... need all the help i can get :dumbbell:

I just joined as I've been struggling to lose this last 40 lbs and just can't seem to do it. When I started, I was 277 lbs and 5' tall. I am down to 170 lbs. While I feel soooo much better at this weight, I still have a way to go. I joined a gym and they are having this '90-day challange'. Sort of their version of the biggest loser, except you don't get kicked off the teams. This means that I am not only accountable to myself, but to others as well.

Hi I am 20yrs old and I weigh 206 pounds...I've been in a relationship for three years and I guess because of that I've gain almost 100 pounds. My self worth has gone way down and I really want to feel better about myself! Being 20 at 5'2 and 200 pounds is not my idea of an healthy life.

I use to weigh 240 sown too 188 trying to tone up and get to 150 ish 5'4". And need to shape up under ar m fat. it's saggy and gross!!

I've scrolled through some of your #'s and wow I was hoping to find somebody in my range. Anyway, here it goes. I'm 33. 5'5 and last check I am 300lbs. Obviously, I have a long ways to go. My husband also has some weight to lose, thanks to my inability to cook. So we just joined a gym and we are set to work together. I like this site, as anytime I work out, I do the best if I go in with a game plan.

I'm 5o 5'10" and 310lbs. I had Gastro bypass on Jan.25th and have already dropped 42 lbs(was 352 on surgery day).
I just started at the gym but have never been to a gym and don't know what to do. I did play basketball up until 8 yrs ago when I got cancer. I went from 206 to 483 in 1 1/2 yrs. I dieted and swam my way down to 350 but stalled there for a year so went for the surgery. I'm hoping to get down to 200 lbs. Just need a game plan to get there.

I'm 6'1" and weigh 328lbs. my goal weight is 187lbs but every time i get down to 300 or a little below for some reason my weight just shoots right back up over 300. Last year the lowest my weight got down to was 297 and then when i went to go see my doctor i weighed 330. :angry:
