Hello i'm 35 5'11 and weigh 210lbs.I have had 4 children didn't exercise any now i have celluar thighs and a 4 month pregnacy belly but not pregnant.I have started working out at the YMCA i walk 2 miles on the treadmill and 3 miles one the cycle.I also do the stomach crunch.What i need to know is is this the right method to help me lose this fat or could someone please help me to get to the goal of losing the 50 lbs.Diet anything i'm depressed

Diet is key, along with proper exercise. You can get a FREE workout plan from this site and start.
Read around the site, check out the diet forum and grab the grocery list and start shopping.

To be straight with you this is my first time at the gym so i don't know what i be doing and what's cardio and is it different from doing the treadmill and cycling.Please don't laugh i'm really serious and want to lose the weight or atleast tone my body up

Yup... a form of cardio would be done on the treadmill or the bike.
Endless crunches won't get rid of a belly. That is mostly diet combined with some exercise. Try adding some weights.. again, get a routine from here. If there are any questions ask away.
And certainly ask people at the gym to help out, too.

Cardio = cardiovascular exercise. Generally referred to as anything that gets your heart rate up for whatever time frame you need.
Examples: Running (treadmill, elliptical machine, on a track), bicycle, swimming, fast paced walks, etc, etc.

Most people would recommend a weight lifting routine (sign up for one on this site) followed by some cardio for weight loss (assuming you already have addressed your diet needs).
