Well, I've been using the Freetrainers program for a year now, and it's been great. I started the program weighing in at 170. I'm 188 now, and still wearing a 32" pair of jeans, so I know the bulk has gone somewhere else. I've tossed all my old winter jackets, and I feel terrific.

I've used a variety of FT programs, amd have liked them all. I don't post as often as I did in the beginning, but I do read the posts that other members leave, and if anyone reads this, all I can say is stick with the program. There's no quick fix, but if a 48 year old fart like me can continue to make improvements, anyone can.

I still cycle on and off creatine, and am currently using the store brand they sell at GNC. It seems to work fine, and the price is certainly right. The only other supplements I take are a daily multi-vitamin pack, and an occasional protein shake.

The best part of it all (and I hate to admit this) is that I can physically intimidate my 17 year old daughter's dates just by answering the door. Believe me -- nothing gets a teenage girl home on time quicker than a boy who knows daddy is benching his bodyweight in the basement.

Thanks for everything!

Way to go!

Hope to see you around more. Hmmm can a muscle mom intimidate those boys. I have a few years to go but still.......

Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
