Ok so a few of you have super slow computers and my old journal was taking a long time to bring up. So I thought I would start a new one. I am closer but not quite to my overall goal. SO this journal is all about reaching my goals of 14% bf and a waist of 38-40. That said, I am also planning to compete in a powerlifting comp sometime in the future. So not only will this be a differnt journal in that it will focus on my Bf loss goal, but it will also focus on my powerlifting goals. Look for updates soon, I plan to push the reality of my lifts beyond my current ability to comprhend!!!

Well after a number of days with extreme pain in my foot it seems to be fading. I want to plan out my attack for the next 3 months or os. No gym limited weights and well a dwindleing supply of get-up-and-go. SO I need to step in get back to something regardless what level it is. Since I have only about 200lbs I can use at one time lifting heavy for bent rows and deadlifts is nigh impossible. So here is the plan:
Day one- Chest and Biceps, here I can get a great if somewhat stale bicep workout, I will try to add some flies and try chair dips.
Day two- Back and Triceps, again I will be able to get a great tri workout but can only do bent rows, deadlifts and upright rows. PLUS I am adding cleans to this day as well.
Day three- Shoulders and legs, Heavy shrugs and Squats are out so I will do front squats and lunges for legs and do a lot of sllloooowwwww reps for shrugs.
Day four- will be forearm and calves day.

Any thoughts and suggestions are very welcome. Along with this I plan on attepmting to hit running walking and or tae bo 3-4 times as well. Will update as I can.

Ok I had a touch of vertigo last week but last night felt much better so I tried a little bice/forearm workout. I started with
Ez curl bar curls 70x10, 86x10, 96x10. These were done witha wider grip and elbows kept back.
Alt DB curls Supersetted with hammer curls I did 3sets of 10 reps at 30lbs. Nice slow perfect form.
Barbell curls 58x10, 78x10, 98x10 all good form and nice and slow.
For forearms I did 3 sets each at 15 reps with 20 and 25lbs of wrist curls both palm up and palm downs.

Highlights: Good pump! Feel it today!
Lowlights: Felt a little dizzy during it but will try for another day tonight...

You're right; absolutely positively correct.
I apologize-you've probably mentioned it somewhere on the message boards, but I didn't catch it...
Do you have an inner ear infection which is causing the vertigo?? Or a permanent condition like Meniere's?

:o) Yeah, I bet...
You'll get over it in no time :o)
...Kev has Meniere's....the vertigo came pretty violently for him /couldn't maintain his balance...For about 4 months, I was helping him around the house...He became very depressed...Walking like a drunk all the time (funny but not funny)...He was taking gentamycin injections in the eardrum to kill the nerves.
The condition has lessened in ferocity but still usually lands him in the bed for about 1 or 2 days about every 6 weeks..I'm just happy that he's feeling better again.
I don't have to go to the grocery alone anymore - LOL - and to think we used to get in each other's way at the checkout lane :o)

He'll be all right - he's not the type to stay down for long. That's part of the reason I love him.

And you have the same trait it seems :o)
So where's that training manual by you and the saxman? LOL

Don't get discouraged. Just choose one subtopic (equipment, proper form, stretches etc.) and write down your thoughts.
From there, you can write up paragraphs on the topic. You can always plant last minute ideas into the body of the paragraph where logical....footnotes work too.
You can complete the rough draft and let someone copy-edit for you..
As far as $$, LOL - our client is moving their risk management and servicing operations to Buffalo, NY in December....Since I have elected not to relocate, my termination date is December 1st....Found this out a few months ago - really has me bummed out because I've worked with this company for 7 years and have good relations with both the client, my superiors and my coworkers..Had me so wrapped that I landed myself in a car accident the day after learning about it with an older model corvette...blah...Lucky I have full coverage and no one was seriously injured...
I don't mind change when I'm the one who initiates it...LOL
Guess that is just the way the wind blows, and I should endeavor to hold on.

Hey, I know it probably shouldn't go here, but how much would a 3.5 oz chicken breast be. Size of a palm, hand?? what??

Hey mutt, I thought about you last night when I saw an Oreos ad. I guess if you get an Oreo that turns your milk blue, you will win a million dollars. Would that make it ok to eat a few once in a while? (I'm such a sucker!) Just think mutt, you could be getting paid to eat Oreos...lol. Sort of?
