well i go an have my mri tomorrow and hopefully find out where this pinch nerve is an get it fixed i must say though that my back is starting to feel a little better the spasms are not as frequent as are the pins and needles are not as frequent either i hope to be working out soon because i am going cwazy and putting on a little fat on the gut which is natural i guess will keep you posted take care....

i got my results today, pinch nerve in lower back, no lifting at all, bummer......he is going to try a cortisone shot and if that does not work back surgery he says oh well no one is going to cut me open and play with my nerves..take care...............

Listen I know you feel bummed, but remember that you are in better shape and healthy other wise and it just may need time to relax.....take care and stay on here we will help you thru this!!

Sheeesh, yup like Mutt says stay here, let it get better by itself, It will give you time to make a new goal in your workouts, and imagine if you weren't in shape, it id be worse!

My poor Nellie. Hope everything works out ok. Just think once you get all better, you will be able to see some more good results after not being able to lift for awhile. I haven't been able to go to the gym very often at all. I hate it but I gotta get used to it for the next three years. Hopefully I will be able to get in a little bit. I was thinking about buying a bowflex so I could try and squeeze in about 30 minutes before bed if I am not too tired after working 18 hours.

can not get the cortisone shot until jan 7 can you beleive that crap i have to see what other options there are this is getting ridiculus i am so frustrated dont mind me i just gotta vent a little bit now and then ............

Dont feel so bad, here in Montreal, my mother in law has to wait till february just to be seen by a rhumatologist (spelling)!

well it keeps getting worse now my neck is bothering me it is real stiff and i am having intense burning there also in the upper back i just talked to my doc and he is pulling me out of work and i am going to have another mri on my upper back or neck and he said he was going to put on a cervical collar on....does this suck or what he says i probaly have a herniated dicsc in my neck that is pressing on a nerve.......oh well just gotta stay strong i guess...

Hey it could be worse, like -10 and a blizzard! added to that bad back!
