OKay, slow down, fill out your profile and then list your workout routine (here) and an example of your daily diet, what you eat and when.

You need more fibrous vegetables and some whole grains.
I would space your meals out to 3 hours apart, and 4 large sandwiches at one sitting? Maybe 2 sandwiches and a large salad and a spoonful of peanut butter...

I don't even wnat to know what a tuna shake is....sounds gross.

I think you need to switch to a split routine. Less bodyparts each night.

Here is my current split (though there are millions of ways to work a split routine):

Monday quads and chest, cardio
Tuesday Back and Hamstrings
Wednesday Abs and Calves, cardio
Thursday Rest
Friday Arms, shoulders
Saturday Cardio
Sunday rest and maybe a recreational sport or activity, like swimming with the family or playing some basketball.

Less is more when it comes to trying to gain mass.

ok a tuna shake is just a tin of tuna blended with a cup soup or tinned tomato's I cant eat tuna as it is so I make it into a drink. I see what your saying about split routine but I am trying to get big arms for now. I like the look of your routine. and your rihght about the vegys I do eat whole meal though. No sugar. so do you think if I rest the arms they might grow. there is muscle in there they are solid no flab but just not as big as I whant.

It was so nice of you to point out that you were not coming on to her. All to often people make rude remarks and do not follow it up with an explanation. It is very obvious that amy has made quite a transformation and we all are so proud of her. Why is your screenname bb2fat? Have you met our premier member bb1fit? Is he your father?

Please do not change your name on my account. I am not offended by it, I just thought that it was ironic that you chose to use that name.

No hostility, just that you ask for advice, I give advice, I probably know what i am talking about, since I look the way I do, but you still seem convinced that overworking your arms and such is the way to go.
Try one of the mass gainer programs here with a focus on arms.
You will get results.

Listen the trick to big arms is training right. Working them every day is actually going to cause you to lose size. Do basic barbell work first...Barbell curls. Form is everything. Also work your triceps just as hard or harder. Let them rest at least 72 hours or longer. Remember that they are used in back and chest workouts as well. One question I have do you do any chins bent rows or deadlifts? These will help build your arms as well.

wait till youve recovered, then go for it again, you will get into a cycle. aching is good, but you need to give your muscles time to repair before lifting again.

Actually active recovery is quite good. Gets nutrient rich blood flowing to the area, and aids in recovery. If it is not "pain", then go ahead and train.

Every day training anything will never result in anything good. Muscles do not grow in the gym though you may feel that way(the pump). They actually grow upon recovery.

Well I was doing a twice a week workout split (3 days one one off 3 days on) for years. My arms went from 14 in to 16.5 in a years or so. Then they hit 17-17.5 and stalled. If you are a beginner you can do more in a shorter period of time. I DO NOT advise less than 72 hours of rest if your arms hurt badly take extra time. If not work away. BB1fit makes a great reply active recovery is great. I now only lift for biceps and tricesp once a week....my arms now measure 18.5 cold...good luck!

It took me about 4 years or so. They grow rather nicely, now they seem to be at a stand still.
