Recently my fiance has started working out with me regularly. She doesn't do the exact same workout as I do, but similar: squats, bench, rows, lunges, pull ups, etc. She lifts weights rather than doing cardio type classes since her goal isn't weight loss, but she wants to add some muscle to arms and legs.
Lately she has been complaining of hip pains. Not necessarily excruciating pain, but enough to take some tylenol occasionally. Could this be due to beginning working out, squats, lunges, etc?
And if so what could be done to remedy the situation? Which stretches could help? Could adding cardio help alleviate the pain? Thank you in advance for your help.
