Thanks fella's, I am aiming at 20 pullups, 100 crunches, and the 3mile run between 19:00 and 20:30. I will let you know how I do!

Thanks guys. Yeah the numbers aren't too bad. If I train really hard I can run in the 18:00 time range. All this damn lifting is slowing down my run time. I missed 20 pull ups by one. I can't even tell you how pissed I was. It's cool though I am going to BBQ today and stuff my fat face.

How do you do your pullups? We were taught "the roll" in boot and I've always been able to do 20 without problems. The situps were easy (back then), but I've since had lower back problems and don't do them anymore.
Now the run is a different story as I hate to run for distance. I can play tennis all day long, but stick me on a track to run for 3 miles...forget it!
Your results are pretty good, Hec...you'll do much better next time! :dumbbell:

We have to do dead hang pull ups now, no more "kipping" as it used to be called. This is the first time in 6 years I haven't gotten 100 crunches. I was shocked.

Sounds like Amy needs to start having you do crunches instead of pushups.

Sounds like you just missed all your goals. You're right there, man, just a little more training. What was the time limit for the pullups and crunches??

No time limit for the pull ups. 2 Minutes for the crunches.

Hec - 19 pull-ups is great! next time you will get 21!
Maybe datdani is right - you should be doing crunches instead of push-ups, or in addition to push-ups!!!
-------------- If you fall down seven times, get up eight.
