What is the average cost of gym? One of my local ones is around $60 a month for one person, that seems alittle high to me.

Well in my gym it's 50€ a month.... Often if you sign up for a longer period, it gets cheaper.

I think to pay 50-60 is OK, thats if you use it at least 20-30 days a month. Maybe 30-40 for the smaller community gyms.

I have worked out in many gyms the best are not always the most expensive or the shinyest (spelling Iknow). What I mean is that it depends on what you want. Me I just need a few cardio machines and lots of free weights. I pay 305 for the year. I would look at other non-chain gyms.
