Okay, i am going to step up to the plate because I am short on time today and Mutt said to post stats by today to compete. I am really revved up from going to my training partner's prejudging this morning - i went and stocked up on my supplements this afternoon and ready to shred!

My current (miserable) stats are:
Body composition 23.25% fat mass at 178lbs (I am a big girl) That is 41 lbs of fat and 137lbs of lean tissue mass. I know - awfully big right now, but I bounced up from my competition.
My measurements find me kind of rectangular at the moment -
Chest 37.5"
Waist 37" (zoinks)
Hips 42"
Biceps 13.5" (equal at least)(semi-relaxed, hands on hips)
Forearms 11" (I'm popeye the sailor woman)
Thighs Upper around largest area of quads and inner thigh, 26"Right leg / 26.5 Left leg
Calves (around largest part of gastroc) 17"
Oh, and my neck is 16".
Alright - everybody, let's go!!!!!
Do we want seperate posts for our acrdio and lifting routine check-ins?

Let me take this opportunity to wish all competitors good luck. Competition is fun and challenging, and rewarding. Take it seriously, and in my best boxing announcers imitation...."Lets get readddyyyyy to rumble!".

I was going to say "Let's get ready to rumble" but I thought it sounded too brutish. Glad you said it for me... I am geared up!!

Hello there. My wife, asimmer, has been going on about this site for some time and told me that you have a contest starting today for who can get in the best shape in a certain period of time. Now, I'm not the pretty one in the family and I haven't done a consistant workout program in about ten years. I am a plumber by trade, so I do plenty of physical labor on a daily basis (wrenching pipe, hauling out old water heaters and boilers) but it's the kind of work that doesn't translate into a slim waistline (just a sore back now and then). So, since my better half has been getting her friend ready for a competition these last few days, something snapped this morning and I no longer wish to look how I do anymore. Here's my stats:
Height: 6'1" Weight:236 lbs Age:will be 32 on Tuesday
Chest:46in. Waist:43.5in. Hips:45in. Biceps L/R 15.25/15.5 in. Forearm L/R:12.5/12.75 in. Thigh L/R: 24.75/25.5 in. Calf L/R:16.25/16.5
Fat Mass:52lb.s
Lean Mass:184lb.s
Average % Bodyfat: 22%
So, there it is. A far cry from ten years ago when I was 190lbs soaking wet (but beer will do that to you)but I am looking forward to being in better shape than I was then. Glad I can join in the fray! Good luck to you all. simmer2

bf 29%
arms 18.75"
chest 49"
waist 50"
thighs 30"
calves 17"
neck 17"
forearms 15"
So that is what I got let the games begin!!!! And let the best mutt...er, person win!!!!!

I would think every week is too soon to see changes lets say every 2 weeks and run this for 3 months? Or is that too long? Is 2 months better?

What about a "Masterb Competition/Participant Listing" post Mutt? Maybe we can just list only the stats there without the usual comments? Maybe mention something along those lines in the header of the first "entry"??? Jus my 2 cents :)
