Actually I guess that should be Muttless challange!! I've had a request for a new post. Seems the other was taking too long to load up for some.

MODERATOR, could you please cast the International Challange post adrift and stickie this one??

DANI, if it's agreeable with you you can post the lifting results here?

CNALLANGE PARTICIPANTS, please post your weight loss and diminsional results here. If you already posted them in the other challange post cut and paste them.

Is there anything I forgot??

Well guys and gals,

The month of July provided many obstacles and combined with my mental block when it comes to competitions my numbers are pretty weak.

Deadlift 395 (no improvement)
Bench Press 275
Squat 400

Final weight 263.8
Final BF% 18.46 %

So there it is. It has been fun and disappointing at the same time.

Thanks,
Daniel Love

For a winner to be declared everybody in the lifting comp must get Dani their numbers. For a winner in the other categories everybody must post stats here. I feel certain that Hec has the chin up category nailed. Beyond that its still a horse race.

I agree Ivan is a winner, he looks much better now.

Hi all! I'll just cut and paste my last post on the Challenge for you:

For inches lost: I had a total of 22.5 inches lost, which I believe is 90 points total as of today.

For BodyFat lost: I went from a start of 103 pounds of fat mass and 126 lean muscle mass and 45.04% body fat to 88 pounds of fat mass and 133 lbs lean body mass and a now 39.78% body fat%, so I am down 5.26% of body fat%.

For Weight lost: I have gained 7 pounds of lean muscle and lost 15 pounds of body fat www.mybodycomp.com says but if you are looking for scale weight loss mine is 8 pounds on scale.

Well, I know that all of you did great and am looking forward to hearing all your results! A pat on the back to you all!!!!!!

I bummed out Im afraid. Things got so damn complicated in my house that I reverted back to old behaviour, putting my own needs last, again. Any who, it was a fun four weeks in more ways than one. I lost 3 pounds.

Wow - great job Veda!! Most excellent  My bet is she's in the lead
DeeTee - You lost 3 pounds - better than nothing. Now lets get back to putting your needs back to where they are supposed to be - on top!
Charlie - not too bad for a geezer 13 lbs lost? ;) Nice job my friend :)
Ivan - You stretched your picture didn't you? I was sure I saw you eating Krispy Cremes every morning in Montreal (sorry, I can't help but raz you :) hehe Anyway - good luck with the biking

As far as myself, not any huge changes, 1% BF drop - but I'll take that, changes are very .....slllllooowww. But going to keep pluggin away (stubborness does have its advantages) Going to try and increase my Deadlifts tonight by another 10 lbs. Wish me luck :) :dumbbell::angry::dumbbell:

charlie, didn't mean to be in the weight loss thing, not one of my goals.
As for bf% I haven't checked, but I can safely say I'm nowhere near howdiekat or VedaK, so I withdraw!
I'm concentrating all my efforts on the lifting category, it's the only thing I've got any chance of winning.:)

There appears to be a clamor for the results. So...

In the inches lost category there was simply no competition for first place. Vedakathryn has this one running away with 22.5 inches lost and 90 points.

In the weight loss category it's muddy.

Daniel J love lost 10 lbs and has the lead.
Angel Snowlost 9 lbs as did I
Veda-k lost 8
I lost 13 lbs but it involved laxatives and a colonoscopy. Since my weight went back up the day after the procedure, I as supreme challange referee am disqualifying the 13 lbs.

Hector had no competition in the chin-up department and comes off like the guy in the Nike commercial
with a staggering.

If I have erred or omitted post it here.

We now anxiously await Dani's results. I haven't seen her around for a couple of days.

As a Reminder:

For Squat, Bench and Deadlift I used the weight lifted divided by body weight as the comparison numbers.

So for example, Hec started out weighing 197 and benching 205. That was 134% of his body weight. At the end, he benched 295 and lost 8 lbs. Now he benches 150% of his body weight, for a 16% improvement on the bench.

The overall improvement was done by adding up the three categories and dividing by 3.

I think Dani may have had a typo. I started off at 197 lbs benching 275. My bench went up to 295. I did not lose 8 lbs either. I am down to 195.

Well it was a fun challange folks. I think there was a cumulative weight loss of over a hundred pounds. The lift gains were much more. I notice that the floks at the lower end of the gain% were the ones who have been working out the longest. The gains get harder the longer you do it.

I'm tickled that there were so many people involved who were in their first months at FT. The last few challanges petered and died. We had a large number who stuck it out to the end. That is great.

We still haven't heard from a few and I hope they will post soon.

I nominate Electrawoman and Howdie to start the next one. Let there be a massive posting campagne to draft these two into running the next debacle.

Damn I was 205 lbs when we started? I didn't realize that I lost that much weight, or I should say that I was that heavy to begin with. Well good for me. I am 195 right now so I lost 10 lbs. Only 5 more to go for my goal weight.

Okay.. here's actual lifts. Sorry if anyone didn't want them published but I am caving to popular demand.

(starting weight/ending weight/pounds increased)

Bench:

175/210/35 Mike
273/305/32 Andrew
275/295/20 Hector
64/79/15 Mary
224/237/13 Charlie
95/105/10 Dani
145/152/7 Howdie
275/275/ Daniel

Deadlift:

225/300/75 Mike!!
227/333/56 Charlie
488/515/30 Andrew
76/96/20 Dani
305/319/14 Hector
64/95/11 Mary
Howdie and Daniel do not indicate any change on Deadlift. However weight change did influence the percentages.

Squat:

391/446/55 Charlie
300/350/50 Mike
160/200/40 Howdie
100/133/33 Dani
130/162/32 Mary
380/400/20 Daniel
458/475/17 Andrew
Hec according to my records you dropped from 340 to 331 for squat?? You stopped doing them naked in front of the mirror didn't you.

The reason why my squat dropped is because initially I did a real weight max. For the challenge I used the calculator due to my back problem incurred mid challenge. My squat would have been a lot higher.
