has anyone tried this product? You can drink it like milk, supposedly 26g protein to 8 oz, better availability than cooked egg protein - what do you think?

I am going to look at their site www.eggwhitesint.com but I wanted to know if anyone has tried it?

Well, moneywise, here is what I found - 1 egg costs about 8 cents, at 4g of protein per egg white, that would be 1.48 for 26g of protein.
The egg white product is about 2.50 for the same 26g of protein.

they claim that their product is superior because cooking denatures the protein in egg whites...

I guess I will wait and see if anyone has tried this or knows anything about it, I would just consider it because you can drink it right out of the container - no cooking or seperating and it supposedly is higher quality protein...so for convenience would it be worth the extra money?

Cooking an egg normally does nothing to denature the protein. Bunch of hooeeyy!

Cooking eggs actually makes the protein more digestible and increases the bioavailability of the amino acids. Raw eggs cannot be digested as easily. If you overcook an egg and either burn it or make it so it can bounce higher than a superball, then you may have a problem with protein being denatured.

Also can lead to a biotin deficiency with uncooked eggs.
