I drink a 20 oz cup of caffeine free coffee every morning. I add about 3 tablespoons of sugar to it. As I was typing this, I realized that I have no clue exactly what I am trying to find out. Please advise.

I remember what I wanted to ask. Does the sugar have an adverse effect on me? I mean I feel fine so I dont know if it does.

I don't think that small amount of sugar would effect a normal healthy person. I have switched to splenda because I can't tell a difference.

I like Princess's answer. LOL More caffeine, and try Splenda. I don't put sugar in my coffee but I use Splenda for some other things and it really is very close.
I never understood the decaf coffee thing, I've got to have my caffeine in the morning.

Bhardy was offended Jessica, you insulted his decaf........Hey Hec, Try drinking coffee right before your workout...of course WITH caffeine. Its a nice little kick in the ass for your workout.

doesn't caffeine and coffee dehydrate you and give you cotton mouth? I tried drinking coffee before playing hockey to wake myself up an I found myself thirsty the whole game.

Um, thanks for spelling that out for me, BH. LOL
My caffeine is definitely an addiction, but it's also a pleasure.

Hwey hec, drop that sugar, soldier! It is empty calories and doesn't do you any good. Either start by phasing it out gradually or replace (I like splenda, too).
