Hey. I'm getting off a somewhat inactive part of life for me, as I've been working a lot. I wanna build up some muscle. Any good supplements you recommend for this? I know creatine is a favorite. I think BB1 recommends something like greendragon (I'm probably completely off, as i don't exactly remember the brand). regardless, anything short of steroids you would recommend.

By the way, this is such a helpful sight. Definitely doing great work guys, keep it up!!!!!

Adding legs to your workout would be a start.

I do legs too. I'm just interested in things that aid in the process in muscle building.

Heavy squats and deadlifts naturally boost testosterone production. Adding these to your work out program will benefit you more than you could imagine.

Yep, no supplement will top heavy compound work and good food, plus adequate rest. be sure you have enough carbs to support all out war in the weight room and enough protein to allow reconstruction.

I like the Animal m-stak, but it may have been more psychological than anything - I would take it and feel insanely aggressive in the weight room, so i probably grew because I was lifting so hard more than anything.

I'm not sure why people think i don't exercise my legs...
Anyway, Animal Stack, huh? Hmmm, I guess I could check that out.

yeah ka...where DID you get the idea that he doesn't work his legs...it doesn't say he doesn't in his post...so I was just curious...don't bite my head off now...I like it and I'm planning to use it for awhile to come...

Maybe I misread one of his other posts.

"I like bench of all kinds. I like bicep curls. I HATE squats. I hate all leg exercise, actually (deadlifts, lunges etc.). I can completely work out my upper body, no prob. But lower body I hate. Seriously. No, I'm serious. Hate! Seriously!"

I guess I figured that if he hated legs so much they were being neglegted. How long do you normally stick with something that you hate so much?

I dunno, I always figure the ones you ahte must be the ones you need to work harder or more often....

You can hate something and still do it, like hmmm. Okay, I guess there isn't a body part I hate working. I love back day, I love chest day, I love leg day (until the next day) I like arms and shoulders...abs are okay, sometimes fun..darnit. I don't hate any exercises....

I take it back, maybe I hate calves...I hate them today because I can barely walk on them and I have to do them again...I sure hope cardio loosens them up!
