its like all of them are working my arms not my back, and its not because my arms are weak because their not, but one arm dumbell rows are horrible, pull ups and chin ups i love doing them but they dont make me feel anything except in my arms, barbell rows and cable row things dont either, i dont know but thats the ones i do the most

It probably mean that your back is really weak and your arms are doing most of the work. Make a conscious effort to pull your shoulders blades together when doing back stuff.

I found that by leaning back a bit when doing wide grip pull downs I felt more in my back than in my arms. I think that maybe the form is part of the problem. Do as pemdas suggests, because that will help with your form.

I've always had problems "feeling" my back doing work when lifting. Funny thing is, my back is BY FAR the strongest muscle group on my body. Listen to what everyone else is saying, but as long as you are getting stronger, don't worry about the feel too much.

This might sound unconventional, but have you thought about trying a boxing routine? I've done some boxing workouts (mostly shadow boxing but some with strike pads) and my back is alway surprisingly sore for a few days. Specifically, my lat's and rear deltoids. I don't know, just throwing it out there.

Form can really affect whether or not you actually use your back muscles. one thing that helps me is I squeeze my shoulder blades together throughout the entire movement.

Possible reasons:
1. your form is poor
2. you're lifting too light
3. not using full range of motion
4. using too much momentum
where are deadlifts, GMs, etc? how are you training your lower back?

i train my lower back with deadlifts and my job thats about it but i can feel the lower back stuff just not upper back but in gonna try all these suggestions

Have you tried different training styles? More volume with lower weight, higher weight with less volume, 3x10, 5x5, 8,6,4, supersets? Try some of these things and see if any of them work better for you.
I'd bet though that you form sucks, try a 3x10 with a mid range weight and really concentrate on your form and squeezing your shoulder blades together. Be cognizant to not use your arms as much.
