This week marks 3 years since I joined the gym and started taking fitness seriously. At the time I wasnt sure I could stay motivated and my trainer told me that most people quit within the first 6 months. She said if I could get that far I would be more likely to make it a lifestyle. And at this point I cant imagine not working out or eating right for more than a couple weeks at a time. I am in the best shape of my life and feel that I can only get better from here on. So for those of you who are just starting out, hang in there and head for that 6 month goal. Good luck to all of you. :dumbbell:Lift Heavy:dumbbell:

Congrats.. it is true about the 6 months.. It'll be 8 months for me in a couple of days, and now I get angry at myself if I even miss one day of working out (3 times a week, although I haven't missed a day in over 3 months). If you would asked me that 3 months ago, I could have taken it or left it..
For those starting, keep going and it will become a habit and lifestyle..
Congrats again! I'll be striving to catch up to ya..

Thank you all. Everyone here at FT have been a great help and inspiration to me this last year. My program has improved a lot since finding this site and trusting the great people here. Here's to year #4. I hope it is full of great gains and huge losses.
