Does Arnold still..

fireloard Posts: 665 Joined: 2001/03/27	2002/03/26, 09:48 PM Does Arnold still bodybuild.. I can pretty much guess he doesn't enter competitions but I saw somewhere he is just at or past the 50 mark and had that heart surgery done.. I wonder if he works out at all anymore...

Arnold Posts: 1,112 Joined: 2000/11/27	2002/03/27, 07:06 AM Great question on a great individual :) He'll be 54 this June. YES he does work out atleast 30 mintes daily. Whether it is cardio or weights, he still keeps it up. He maintains his weight around 220-225. As you can see in his new movie, Collateral Damage, he is still huge! There is no 54 year old that I have seen that can compare.. Arnold is truly ageless. He is planning on doing Terminator 3 to be released summer of 2003, and he says that he will come in the same shape that he was in for parts 1 & 2! I know he can do it since he was in such great shape in Collateral Damage. He is also signed to do one more installement of the Conan series, King Conan. Well that my 2 cents.. Conan the Barbarian is one of my second fav Arnold movie after Pumping Iron of course. I've always watched the end when King Conan (Anold) is sitting onhis throne with his head resting on his fist.. and then they say that he eventually "became a king with his own land and kingdom.. but that is another story." Now it's finally time to see it! hahaha.. So unknown in fact I can't remember her name. The movie is tentatively dubbed "Rise of the Machines" and the bad girl is supposed to have everything the t-1000 had except that she can also control anything mechanical. rev8ball Posts: 3,081 Joined: 2001/12/27	2002/04/10, 04:01 PM What continues to evade me is why does holly-weird continue to cast females that look like they have just finished a starvation diet stacked with Meth as "sexy" in roles where the characters are supposed to to look semi-athletic? Now, I'm not just talking female BBs, either. For those of us in the field of fitness, etc., I'm sure we could all rattle off some fitness stars that could more than fill the roles. To call these current actresses "fit" I think is a slap in the face to any competitor. I know people will just say thats its to satisfy the public's demand, and that they're not ready for that "extreme look" as they call it; but I whole-heartedly believe that if you put in front of the average man some string-bean supermodel and the likes of Monica Brant, I dont think it'll be too much of an issue, and maybe that's what the media, film-powers that be, or what have you, is scared of.... -------------- Michael "Trample the weak; hurdle the dead!"

In reference to Michael's comment, you've gotta change the public first. The phrase "I don't want to get bulky" uttered from gals lifting 3lb weights really burns me. What women really need is a female equivalent to Arnie's "Pumping Iron" ... then female muscle and the fitness look will become more mainstream. Just my humble opinion ...
