While lurking here at the Power Lifting Thread, I decided that it was time that everyone here at Freetrainers should be armed with training tag lines: use these when you're approached at the gym by the fitness gurus with 12” thighs that think squats and chalk are “old school.” The next time one of them comes up to you and says “Throwing around that kind of heavy weight won’t get you toned,” use one of these lines and watch them WITHER! (LOL)

If ya have any suggestions, just add them on...

Very creative! I'll have to remember these when I change the quotes in my signature line.

I used to be in the Army, M1A1 Tank Commander. Nothing like 73 tons of steel roaring at 50 MPH across the desert floor. We used to say, "Hot Steel, Cold Death." I suppose this could be modified for FT as "Cold Steel," even though we lift iron.

Yep, I used to be a TC. At times I kinda miss it. I definately miss the shape that I was in. On our Physical Fitness test, I would score in the 280s out of 300. I suppose I could still get up at 5:00 in the morning, do a hundred push ups and sit ups, then go on a 3 or 4 mile run. It was a lot easier to do it then. There was so many external motivators, like Captains, Sergeants (I was one, but there were many over me), peers, etc.

True... 0530, but you best not show up at 0531. lol Ah, the memories...

At any rate, this post started out being tag lines. I made this one up, kinda stole it, but I'll call it mine.

I think I'll incorporate it into my signature
