I have been working out since 3 years. I have achieved okay results.
I want to gain massive size as well as reduce my waist from 36 inch to 30 inch. Long term goal :My goal is to get an biseps size of 22 inch in 2 years time . Currently my biseps are 16 inch. Age-27. I am planning to start working very very seriously for tommorow for the goal of 22 inch bisceps. Ofcourse I will be working my whole body, I know If i achieve 22 inch biseps the whole body will be there automatically. I need real good advise. Since reducing my stomach is also my aim.. I will be working 2 hours daily for 6 days a week and will massage my body once in 2 month. I have 2 options. 1) Do cardio for one hour and weight exercise for one hour. OR 2 )Do cardio for one day for complete two hours and on another day for wieght lifting for two hours and so on.. Please advise what would be best considering my goals. Any other useful tips or advise will be greatful. Sorry for the long post. P.S. I will provide more information about myself once I get an update on this post . Currently confused. New member on this site .sorry" Great site and Great members. |

Please wait for an answer and do not post the same thing twice. Welcome-------------- Curl Jockeys, get outta the squat rack! I wish everyone would get a partial amnesia and never use 'tone' ever again. (thanks Menance) 7707mutt@freetrainers.com |

Neither!
Lift 45 minutes one day, cardio 20-30 minutes alternate days. 2 hours is too much and going from a 16 inch bicep to a 22 (which is a record size) maight take longer tahn 2 years... start with 1/2 an inch gain being your goal, then when you achieve that, set a new goal. Lifint heavy will help you burn aclories, so your waist may go down, but you can't usually gain size and lose weight at the same time - 2 different dietary goals. |

I am not huge or anything but I am now bigger ( muscular) than I have been my entire life. And what I have learned was all those years I tried to get bigger I was overtraining!!
Like asimmer said, to gain size you need to increase your caloric intake. To lose weight you need a caloric deficit. You will be better off deciding which one you want more right now. |

I have seen guys gain biseps and chest size as well as at the same time reduce their stomach and unwanted fat. If they can even I will do it.
I may not be that good in explaining this but recollecting any such guy somewhere ( may be in the gym ) will explain this question. Any more advise appreciated from members. ============ Quoting from conan_0822: I am not huge or anything but I am now bigger ( muscular) than I have been my entire life. You can lose fight and gain size for the short-term. If after your fat supplies are exhausted you risk your body using muscle for energy :)

How big are you wanting to get also?
cause aside from ceratain 'supplements" which i won't go into...being 250 with a 30in waist....is very unlikely. I think You fall into the same misconception "newbies' get into.....they want it all...and they want it NOW! Quicker you try to add weight...more of it will be fat. Slowdown, breath take you time give yourself a chane to learn and grow at a steady pace. -------------- Get your bicep curling, cut off shirt, matching workout outfit wearing, flexing in mirror "toned" wanna-be ass , out of my squat rack! This is more illusionary that real. That is is you gain muscle mass and keep your weight/fat levels identical, then of course you will have 'appeared' to have gained muscle and lost fat. This however is more than difficult to achieve, as with muscle gain comes fat gain. Diet dictates this. Usually those you see doing this have 'hormone' help. They may tell you they don't, but human physiology says otherwise.

Thanks everybody..
I know at the end of the day it is luck, hardwork, dedication that will pay off. Also wanted to know if it is okay to drink protein supplement with milk just before going to sleep. I normally eat bananas before going to sleep. |
