I am currently studying for my NSCA-CPT certification. I'd eventually (sooner than later) like to become a CSCS. So far, I'm thoroughly satisfied with NSCA. However, you need to know your goals: Do you want to work in a gym setting? Do you want to train in a group setting? Do you want to train athletes? etc., etc
Figure out what you want to do with your certification and choose the organization that will specifically meet your needs.

Sounds nice to get PT recognition, but one must keep up with continuing education. So, for those who think it is short term....you are in for a surprise.

A little discipline at the table and at the gym might help reduce that belly!

AFAA is another. They have some good books out, but in my opinion are very 'old school' about nutrition. I had to bite my tongue when really I wanted to get up and scream, you guys don't know what the f**k you are talking about! But, to pass the course, I stayed quiet. :)
