I would like some tips on how to put together a fitness journal I can take to the gym with me. Ie, layout of exercises, sets, reps, weight used, time on cardio machines. Does anyone use excel to track this so you can print out sheets as needed and add to a notebook that you can carry with you to the gym? I'd like to be able to have a week at a time per sheet. Any help would be appreciated. I would like to be able to keep track of last weight used, whether I should increase weight, etc.

I know someone out there has to have an excel program for it.
I myself drew up a sheet and took it to kinko's. I had them put it on front and back and then bind about 30 together. you can get as fancy as you want.
Designing it yourself means you can list whatever you want to track.
Otherwise there are a few journals for sale - check amazon.com for workout journals or fitness journals.

I just use an old fashioned Hilroy note book, or when I do a program from here I print out the sheets. The note book works good because you can also keep it like a diary.
On the professional side I made up my own sheets and had them printed.
