Hello,

Unfortunately my job leaves me with little time to exercise. I know, I need to make time, but to me sleep is way more important. I will be turning 30 in a month and wanted to know if 15 minutes of jogging a day will provide any benefit to me?

I am 5'10" and weigh 165. I seem to metabolize pretty quickly although I am starting to develop a slight gut and I love to eat.

So what do you think, 15 minutes worth it or waste of time?

THanks in advance!

15 minutes per day is adequate to be completely healthy. Good sound diet, and you will be healthier than many/most of your friends. This does not mean you have to look like a bodybuilder. Health is first and foremost, and this will do it for you in that regard.

My daily schedule is as follows:

Up at 5:30am
1 mile walk from train station to office
1 mile walk at end of day from office to station
off the train at 6:30pm and home by 7:00
start dinner by 7:30 eat by 8
finish dinner and dishes by 8:45 - 9
9 to 9:15 9:30 jog
Dead tired, shower and go to bed
If I work out any later, I have trouble falling asleep.

Thanks for all the feedback!! although I would love to look better like bb1fit said, health is the most important thing to me.

Thanks!

You are thinking.....I talk with alot of clients. Some are very overweight looking, some are leaner. They talk about looking like someone they admire....I tell them, be healthy for your body first. Not everyone has to look like a model to be healthy. This is and should be your first concern. You can be healthy and happy.

Minniw, those are wise words from BB1. We know from your picture that looks aren't a priority. Be healthy bro.

I think walking 2 miles a day and running is more than plenty.
