1. I know that soluble fiber is absorbed by the body and insoluble fiber isn't, so does that mean insoluble fiber is worthless? Does it play a role at all?

2.Are their any charts or sites that list the average size of biceps, chest etc. Also, the proper way to measure?

3. There is a conversion chart that I have that conjectures the amount one can lift depending on his one rep max. According to this, if I bench 170 10x, I should be able to do 190 7-8x. I know this is just a guess, so I tried 180. I did it 7x, then 5x. What's the deal. Can I get weaker by the week, (it was 10 days since my last press, so I was totally recouped).

1) insoluble fiber 'sweeps ' the intestinal tract and cleans as it goes through. It may also bind with fat and prevent it from being metabolized.

2) Ummm, average for what age and size person - I don't think there is such a thing.

3) 1RM charts are not very realistic as your technique and lifting history will affect how you perform under heavy weight loads. Be smart and gradually incraese your bench.

1. Then what is the role of soluble fiber?
2. Where did everyone get that bicep info? That's the type of info I'm looking for. Also, the proper measuring techniques for some parts raise questions- when measuring the chest, do I wrap the ruler arounf my back as well? When measuring bi's, do I wrap it around the back of my arm too?

Measure them cold, without a pump. Your pump can vary too much. Usually first thing in the morning is best, after doing your morning "business'. Will eliminate much of the fluctuation of water weight, etc.

I believe soluble fiber gets into the bloodstream and helps scrub the insides of your arteries, etc, but i can look it up for you if you want a more precise answer....
