Its getting fall, and winter......and I for one have hard time being movtivated, I work out but I usually peak in summer time. So I was thinking maybe it time once again for another, freetrainers challange?

I was thinking maybe a old school bench press, squat and deadlift contest.......with weight classes.......and have girls and guys seperate........and just go by poundage lifted for the weight class. Then we can have a overall winner using the ratio thing from last time?

Anybody want to? or is it too close to holidays? Or should I just shut up?

also the clean could be added in for the few people who do it, an dyou wouldn't have to compete in all 4, you could do just bench or squat and deadlift your choice?

why are you wanting the girls and guys seperate?

Are you scared of the competition?

How do you know if people aren't just making up their results?

Honestly policy...duh.....theres no reward money, just a friendly compotition, to help motivate people in the winter and fall months. If you lie your only cheating yourself.

I would certainly be interested, it would help with my adjustments to working full time, plus, now as it has thrown me off terribly, though I am back to my "Beef Jerky Diet" and exercising more, this would definately be a good idea for me, I did well with the last one and would like to see some more pounds shed as I haven't had any additional loss since.

pssst...for those of you that got unnerved at my "beef jerky diet" statement and wanted to throw a 5lb weight at me - it is just what I call my making sure I always have a bag of beef jerky with me to prevent me from not eating as I have a habit of skipping meals. It has helped me tremendously. I take a bag in the car, have one at work, at home, etc. so when I am on the run, I have no excuses to grab a donut or a burger!

Hey, I got another idea we could add to the contest...what if we added a category that was simply someone setting their goals to exercise daily and keeping to that? Since often times when first starting it takes a while to lose pounds, I think it may be beneficial to those beginning to have a category that is actually exercise oriented somehow - does that make sense or am I speaking before thinking again? It is just that for so many, just working out on a consistent basis can be a struggle and an accomplishment!

I had thought about something along those lines too VedaK -that each week you could simply log how many workouts you had done out of those you planned to do, or how many days you had eaten clean.

I like that, princesslodgey, I think those are big accomplishments, especially for beginners to a new healthy lifestyle!
