Yes, I put half cup oatmeal into a cereal bowl and fill it with water just so it covers the oatmeal and put it in microwave for 2 and a half min on high. Let cool for a couple of minutes and then add like half of a 6oz container of flavored yoplait yogurt. Usually Strawberry or Blueberry.-------------- Dont Expect Results, Earn Them! Lance |

I usually eat cooked oatmeal, but if I eat any low carb cereals, yogurt, etc. I add about a few tablespoons of oatmeal uncooked. My kids are doing the same thing and love to come up with different things.-------------- Veda MISERY IS OPTIONAL ***When you are up to your ears in trouble, try using the part that is not submerged. ***The difference between a dream and a goal is a plan. Gaining, I have 1/2 cup oatmeal, 3 slices of turkey bacon, 1 buckwheat waffle with peanut butter, 4 eggwhites, 1 whole egg. Sometimes I have a yogurt also. Breakfast is a time to pile in some good calories.
This is after 1/2 Myoplex MRP with 1/4 cup oats.(I have this upon first wake up, usually around 6 or 6:30 am). Approximately 2-2 1/2 hrs. later I have the above. -------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

that sounds good. how do you keep all this food around? I seem to run out of stuff, and am usually too lazy or pressed for time to cook. Do you make up a lot of stuff at the beginning of the week?-------------- A broken clock is right twice a day |

i eat 1 cup of oatmeal (dry measure) that i cook on the stove, then add cinnamon and vanilla whey powder when it cools down. if i don't have time to eat that i'll either eat special k and drink a scoop and a half of whey protein in water or i'll eat 1 egg + 5 whites.
and bastians_babe, my feelings won't be hurt if you don't tell me i'm hot  -------------- success comes before work only in the dictionary. that's right. |

4 buckwheat pancakes with nutmeg and cinnamon in the batter garnished with fresh strawberries and 1/2 cup of fat free cottage cheese with 1/8 cup of chopped walnuts and 1/2 cup of sliced strawberries. yes, that's right, i ate cottage cheese and i LIKED it. it was so choice, just had to share. -------------- i wish you ill, ice-t. |

Howdie, good for you for trying something new! Cottage cheese is a terrific slow digesting protein. I sure do miss eating it :(
To add to this thread, oatmeal with a scoop of protein powder mixed in is a great well rounded breakfast. Personally I eat 1 whole egg 3 whites and 1 cup of blueberries. -------------- Damselfly Whoever said that sunshine brings happiness never danced in the rain. \\"unknown\\" |
